I really love Glob sacrifice, it's a perfect answer by action to Finn's question. To be born, ignite the flame, nurture it through your life and one day pass the torch to the next generation, even if it means to sacrifice yourself. Even if mars struggled after his disappearance, life endures there.

Something that I feels not mentioned enough is Glob was the same size as Orgalorg in the flashback, this means either:
1. Glob can alter their size
2. Orgalorg for some reason altered his size to combat Glob
3. They just did that to exaggerate how much of a badass Glob was, although I feel like normal sized Glob would’ve been even more badass going 4 on 1 with a primordial

Maybe cuz golb is chaos and his “weakness” is harmony since GGGG is so in sync and unified that they had the chance to combat golb???
I love the theory that Golb and GGGG are somehow the same entity. Golb is silent, chaotic, erratic, unmoving, and also has four eyes and that gem shaped head. GGGG speaks, it agile and dynamic, is calm , and instead of four eyes, fas four heads. Their colors are the same too
I do wonder if Glob is an incarnation of a primal, sort of like the Lich. I could see it explaining a lot.
Also, maybe Margles made the same kind of sacrifice Betty did, making Golb go away but sacrificing herself in the process. Maybe it's something that happens fairly often, they only way to get rid of him is to have someone merge with him, and his essence eventually either consumes theirs, or forces them out of his body.
His presence does seem to slowly influence those who fuse with him, but I don't believe she fused with him, otherwise his form would've changed. It was also specifically phrased he took and erased her
@@TrueLocalEnthusiast Hmmm. The lack of change to his form is what I meant when I said his essence overrides or drives out that of others, over time he'd slowly revert back to his original form. But yeah, the erasing her part is pretty solid.
@@charlieputzel7735 she wouldnt have had the crown, she'd have no way to make that merge happen. and i think it works better as a story if she really was consumed and is just gone. although i guess people do still remember her so is she really gone gone? prismo couldnt bring her back but he does have a boss.
@@masync183 Well, the crown may not be the only artifact with that power. It's certainly possible that another such artifact was created at some point.
@@charlieputzel7735 sure but we KNOW that Betty had that specific item with the specific ability to grant wishes. Unless we're explicitly shown that margles had something similar, there's no reason to suspect that she did.
In Too Young, Peppermint Butler tries to tell Lemongrab where food comes from, and although he's cut off, you can clearly hear him start to say 'Mars.' I always found this super interesting, and I immediately thought of Glob when it was pointed out to me. Maybe he's worshipped as a deity because he brought food to Ooo sometime in the 1000 years between the modern day and the present timeline.
Moe also had some kind of connection to Mars (youtuber Uncivilized Elk has a great theory video on it) so it's possible he could have had some kind of contact with Glob, which led to Mars connecting with Ooo on some level.
The weird part about Glob is despite supposedly being a deity, he isn’t ever flat out mentioned or referred to as such by any one in the show.
I suppose it could be possible that he was simply an extremely advanced martian, but that wouldn’t really make sense considering he can see the Astral Plane. Also, why is there a god of Mars and not a god of Earth? Furthermore why is Abraham Lincoln the King of Mars seem to be a greater position than the God of Mars?!! It just seems like there’s a lot of inconsistencies with his character.
Especially since we know Orgalorg RULED not “tried to rule” or “attempted to take-over” but actually RULED the entire Solar-System at one point and yet King of Mars was able to casually dispatch Glob to get rid of him as if he was just an ordinary threat, heck their battle doesn’t even last a good 3 seconds. It doesn’t make sense why they would wait until AFTER the Catalyst Comet arrived to finally take down Orgalorg once and for all. Unless they were somehow fine with him ruling over the Solar-System until he tried to take the Comet’s power that is.
Being a God doesn’t automatically make you a leader. Lincoln was elected to be King, Glob is probably recognized as all powerful but like any god, not everyone follows you. I guess people just liked Abe as a better leader, but Glob still has his responsibilities as a God. Superman isn’t President of the world but he’s still the closest thing to a God in the DC’s universe

The state of Mars is continuously BOTH one of the WEIRDEST and most inconsistent parts of the lore in Adventure Time AND one of the most INTERESTING parts of the lore at the same time!

The fact that Glob was able to best Orgalorg already says a lot about how high his (or their idk anymore) power level is. Though, even without that fact there is still a lot of evidence supporting his incredible power.
Just recently rewatched the episode. Realized that glob the all powerful dies by suicide bombing into martins spaceship instead of the catalyst comet. Didn't even have to die :(.

You missed to mention the relation between GGGG and Golb. There are many similarities between the two. Similar or close names, Both are Red, The pyramid headpiece. Both can be considered primordials since they are very powerful. What if, GGGG and Golb were actually one being and then eventually split. Which could explain why Golb doesn't really have much of a personality or character because GGGG are the personalities when they split. It could also explain why Golb attacked mars and GGGG even mentions that "Golb could attack mars again". Because Golb wants to fuse back..
Also, probably a coincidence, but Golb has 4 eyes,
And GGGG has 4 heads...

I have a headcanon for where Glob got [his] helmet thing from. It's from the crystal dimension. Visually speaking, the helmet looks like a crystal, and where do things made out of crystal come from? The crystal dimension. [He] could have just gotten the helmet there.

I have another Adventure Time what if idea: What If Betty Wears The Ice Crown. What do I mean by this, well, during Simon's expedition from Scandavia, Simon brought the crown from an old dockworker and bring it home to America. After going back to America, Betty ask Simon to let her wear the ice crown and then, similar to how Simon chases Betty in the streets when wearing the ice crown, Betty chases Simon in the streets and he hides in somewhere in town. While there, Simon feels remorse for buying the ice crown and letting Betty wear it and he disappears. After that, Betty then creates a video about her transformation to Ice Queen.
Another thing, we see male user, such as Sven and the first Santa Claus, wear the ice crown, but I would like to see what could have happened if a female user, like Betty, wear the ice crown and gain ice powers and what effects of the ice crown would do to a female user because we don't get to see a girl wearing the ice crown.
What if Betty wears it? Wait.. Fiona and cake, what if Betty is the ice queen

What would Ice Queen Betty and Marceline's relationship would be like if Ice Queen Betty found her and raised her. What kind of teachings Betty would give her. That is the thing I'm referring too.

This is just a nitpick, but I think you’re using the word “actually” too much. Try replacing instances of it with synonyms if you feel that script needs that much affirmation of what topic is being discussed but please, PLEASE, diversify your vocabulary and try not to rely on the same word over and over again.

Where did the inspiration to make Abraham Lincoln the King of Mars come from? I always thought about that and wondered if it's just random "xD" humor, product of its era, or if there's any meaning to that.
It's actually because the creator of the show is a relative of Abraham so he decided to include him in the show

I think I get it.
So i think the Author is obviously somewhat quoting God in this character. The holy Trinity all with thier own thought but same will. And since its mars the 4th planet and were the third planet in our solar system with a Trinity he probably made a Being with 4 heafs representing mars the 4th planet and he is ruling the 4th planet.
When he died and finn finally woke up, Finn even said Glob is dead which is a refetence to the famouse phrase, "God is dead."
