We all need a friend like Kristen in our lives 🥺. Absolutely love your personality, your positivity and your attitude on life. It’s hard to find people like you! I am forever a big fan of you 💝
I Agree ! Kristen is such an inspirational , amazing, professional, talented lady. I am an IKEA fan, and so thankful that you give tricks and ideas how to upgrade there pieces. Blessings, Liz
I love how everything turned out I’m thinking of putting some hooks in my entryway as well. The only thing I would change is the mirror for a more longer either oval or rectangular shaped one.
This makes me want to paint my front door. I just don't know what color yet! I love how the kallax unit turned out. Everything is styled so beautifully
You do a great job! I love how you use inexpensive items and make it look fantastic. Keep doing discount decor! Very few interior designers are good at that
I'd love to see you style a library wall in an office or a bookcase area. We want to buy our first home at some point in the next year and we've always lived in rentals that we haven't been allowed to decorate, but I really want to create an office space if I can and I have a lot of books.
If you see her empty house walk through she has a room with built in bookshelves. I’m not sure they’re going to use it as an office but I’m excited to see how she styles it!
I too have a lot of books and use my office space as my work 'nest'. I want it practical, but also very cozy. SO when I sit at my desk I am immediately in the zone for my best work. I have found a variety of ways to distribute my books around the room from standing bookshelves to wide end tables that conceal some of my bulkier reference books, to wall mounted mini shelves.
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Wow, Kristen! I absolutely love what you did to your lake house entryway! The IKEA hack KALLAX transformation is really clever for storing shoes and looks so high end! Love the shoe organizers you placed inside of the cabinet, too (now I must purchase some to organize my shoes!). Love the wall hooks as well. You're so right about the mirror providing a different perspective of the space. You have quite a talent for bringing life and creativity into any space!
You are so so talented Kristen I learn a lot of things about décoration juste on watching your video I wich you a lot of success bcz you deserve it ❤️❤️
Wow! What a big difference with the paint. It definitely made the hallway more modern and fit with your style. Can’t wait for you to do the rest of your house and the office. 😘
Super super CUTE!!! Looks great! Don't forget to put a rug liner under that rug, or people might go slip sliding away when they walk in! What a beautiful way to greet people!
Love the transformation - love the gallery wall - only piece I don’t like is the round mirror with that stool - both feel a bit small for that space I think a tall mirror (hanging) would look much better …
Kristen, Kristen. I love it. At first I wasnt in love with the sage door but along with the white trim it was so transformational. I was so happy to see that you, like myself, (an unskilled "decorator".. lol) also needed to see how the door paint looked b4 deciding to paint the trim. I do that all the time and thought I was just 'slow'...lol. So thanks, my decorating friend... And coincidentally I purchased a brimnes glass door cabinet from Ikea to store entryway shoes. I plan to spray the glass with mirror effect paint and put a vinyl overlay on the glass in a zebra pattern so its shows as zebra and mirror and you cant see inside. You have inspired me to try a few things girl! I love how you updated that shelf with doora & those vertical wood pieces. Im going to reface my bathroom cabinets with that. I also have a gallery wall in my radar for above the shoe cabinet so thanks for the coupon! Cant wait for your next video
Did it bother anyone else how she didn’t cut the candle wicks ? 😂😂 still super beautiful and far superior than what I feel capable of. Currently designing the first space of my own. It’s been quite the journey! Love watching and seeing her tips and tricks
Thank you so much. Planning to paint my front door and look for the light bulb that doesn’t need electricity and a new lamp for the library table. Also different rug for the floor.
Kristen - Just recently discovered your channel, and I love your ideas! They are so real-people doable. We're embarking on a remodeling project that will touch almost every room in the house, so I'm picking up lots of tips from you. Because of this video, I'm changing my entry rug and getting a nice lamp for the table by the door (had a wall hanging lamp that didn't turn out the way I wanted).
This is probably really picky, but it makes me just a little worried when people tape around things like handles when you could just unscrew them and pull them away from the door/wall to paint behind them and not have to worry about any paint ridges. But I really like your paint choices. Absolutely lovely!
I have the smallest entry way ever. It’s just like a straight hallway into the living room! Please do a series about how to decorate small spaces. Please! please!
.... I always use a roller ( small to medium foam roller ) to paint doors, cabinets, etc.and I don't know if you added Floetrol to your pint, but I have used it for 20 + years, I don't paint without it, it's a paint conditioner, self leveling product. The colour you used for the door made a huge difference in the feel of the entryway. Nice job on that cabinet! I was thinking a longer mirror, rectangular, so one can " check the entire look" lol... before leaving the house. Something with " luster " similar finish to the one you used.
Hi, Kristen. You are one of the firsts DIY’rs I found on you tube while back. Thanks to you, I was inspired to renovate/decorate my home slowly! My living room doesn’t receive a lot of sunlight and I wonder what to do to change that!!! If you or anyone have any suggestions.. I have a request, I would love to see a DIY’er show how to lighten a dark room by installing a small accent window on an exterior house wall made of concrete. Anything to bring natural light into the room!!!! I saw your entryway brighten, I love that!!!
I love your style. It just instantly calms me. Very much my color scheme & desired look for when we get a home! Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of your home!!
The green door really pops! Love the artwork. But favourite piece is your shoe cabinet. Quite the show stopper. Well done. Wow almost a million subscribers.....
Looks so beautiful and inviting! I have a mudroom that needs a completer overhaul; tackling it this Fall. Love the textured stucco wall and simplicity of the mirror and wall hooks. Color scheme is so natural and soft. Beautifully done!
Love what you did to your entryway. Beautiful colors, design and organization goes a long way and now you have an elegant entry into your already beautiful home.
We have that kind of door in our new constructed house, as u said it’s uncomfortable to have that see through glass side by side! Now I have the idea how decorate our entry way like you do it’s so nice and clean
Wow what an amazing difference in the feel of the space. My gosh, I didn't realize the entryway could make such an impact. I have to reconsider my decorating priorities for my new home. Thank you!
In my opinion, the side door glass trim paint should be black instead of white, will make the sage green door stands out more & match with the pictures frames. Then the Ikea shoe rack the 1st left cabinet door, you should adjust back the height to be aligned so that it will look better & can be closed properly. Anyway overall, good job done 👍🏻, liked all the deco pieces.
Kristen, I absolutely love your makeover. I did want to mention, however, that your shoe console is now covering up your air conditioning intake. It was probably not an issue with the old shoe console since it had no back and it could still pull fresh air into your system through the open shelves. Covering it up will make your air conditioner work harder and could cause some issues down the line. You may want to consider swapping the shoe console with the bench. Then maybe you could put a plant or something on the right side of the bench to help fill up that wall. I love your design esthetic and very much enjoy your videos. I appreciate all you do to make these informative and enjoyable for your viewers!
Kristen! You are sooo incredibly close to 1 million subscribers!! I can’t wait to see you reach this important milestone. I’ll keep watching as the count increases.
I absolutely suck at decorating my home so I pretty much just copy what you do at this point but with a few different touches 😂 I absolutely LOVE how this came out!
Kristen this looks so good! Not a plain entry way but it’s not too overwhelmed with styling either. Love it! I also love the choice to paint the trim white, it brightened everything up for sure!
I really like the paint color you chose for the front door little miss thing. Rocking your suntan at your beautiful lake house. You were correct to paint around the windows with white paint because after all it is a lake house and it should look clean and fresh which you achieved. Great job. I'm gushing a little bit because I think this is my favorite makeover you have ever done.
This entry way makeover is simply lovely & I adore everything about it! Your decorating style is very similar to mine, with natural textures, earthtones and warm lighting. Thanks for sharing your design talents, and for always giving me creative ideas for making my home cozier.😊
Ooh my favorite so far! I don't have an entry way in my small mobile home but I want to create an outside space outside by the front door with a nice bench with storage for shoes, etc. I'm collecting ideas🥳♥️🥳
Ikea used to have the window film. I used it 14 yrs ago on a window until my evergreen screen grew. The great thing is you can easily remove it when you dont need it anymore.
Beautiful! All the textures and colors look amazing together! I have a large entryway in our new home! I am using an "old" silver metal mirror and trying to incorporate 4 photos around the mirror.
Wow! What a difference. I love the gallery wall. I have a woven rug by my door and it bunches up when I open it. Is there a remedy for that? Thanks for the link and discount code.
HAPPY SUNDAY💗I'm so excited to share this makeover with you guys!! Let me know what you think of the transformation!!🙊
Happy Sunday Kristen 🥰
LOVE IT!! it looks amazing, thank you for sharing your ideas
I love it, it is so elegant and unique. You are the best Kristen
These videos bring me so much peace. Perfect for Sunday. Btw, it looks great!!
Love the transformation! Simple yet elegant. I’ve never seen those pegs before. Cool!
We all need a friend like Kristen in our lives 🥺. Absolutely love your personality, your positivity and your attitude on life. It’s hard to find people like you! I am forever a big fan of you 💝
Agreed! She is my "if I could be anyone." Love her!!
Hear hear!! Just found this channel a few days ago and I'm so addicted, can't stop watching!!
I Agree ! Kristen is such an inspirational , amazing, professional, talented lady.
I am an IKEA fan, and so thankful that you give tricks and ideas how to upgrade there pieces.

I LOVE Sage Green. I had that in so many rooms in my last house and found it to be so calming and warm.
Yes!!! I love it too!🤍👏🏼
I love how everything turned out I’m thinking of putting some hooks in my entryway as well. The only thing I would change is the mirror for a more longer either oval or rectangular shaped one.
Yes rectangular shaped mirror would be great
This makes me want to paint my front door. I just don't know what color yet! I love how the kallax unit turned out. Everything is styled so beautifully
The Ikea Kalax transformation is jaw dropping! You can do anything! You make magic happen!
You do a great job! I love how you use inexpensive items and make it look fantastic. Keep doing discount decor! Very few interior designers are good at that

Very, very nice! It feels calm... and we all want to walk into a calm space! Great job! (Your shoes are stacked ? )

The way you match things together and decorate the house is incredible. You're super talented.
Thank you so much! It’s so much fun for me!

Love how the seat and wooden chain work together to add warmth to the space and draw out some of the warmer colors in the prints!
Looks fab!! such inspiration. Could you share where you got pics from? Love them
Absolutely stunning! I love the upgraded IKEA cabinet, prints, etc. So many good ideas. Thank you!

As a guy that just closed on a new home, I really enjoy your video series on makeover and design. Thank you.
Everything is beautiful, I just think that a pop of greenery or plants near the gallery could elevate it more.. 🥰
You are so so talented Kristen I learn a lot of things about décoration juste on watching your video I wich you a lot of success bcz you deserve it ❤️❤️
I love how to transform the door colour. Its so lovely to see it with sage green ♥️

Came out beautiful! It's amazing how much the white trim changed it.
Kristin, your entry way turned out just amazing!!! I can not wait to see what you do with the rest of your home!!!
It looks amazing!! I have a small entry way and I used muted tones and sage green is one of those colors. I can't wait to see more of your ideas.
You never cease to amaze me with your style and creativity. What a beautiful and functional entryway. Great job Kristen!

AND HOW THAT PLAIN IKEA BOX SHELVES...WHAT A BEFORE AND AFTER!!🥰
Hi Kristin I was wondering if you had any ideas for entrances that get wet from snow. ..I never know what to use for boots or door mat to use .
Painting the door made the entry space so bright. Wow
.... I always use a roller ( small to medium foam roller ) to paint doors, cabinets, etc.and I don't know if you added Floetrol to your pint, but I have used it for 20 + years, I don't paint without it, it's a paint conditioner, self leveling product. The prints arrangement, well-organized shoe cabinet with the beautiful round wood lamp on top look great together! The entrance rug looks good too.
The door and trim paint made such a difference!
Painting the door and transforming the schoe cabin is awesome.
I love your style. It just instantly calms me. Very much my color scheme & desired look for when we get a home! Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of your home!!

Wow, from plain & boringly normal to positively beautiful & appealing! Well done!
I did the window covers a few months ago and it is very easy. Purchased it from home depot.
Use a little FloTrol in your paint and it goes on smoother, leaving no brush marks.
I would LOVE to do these things & they seem so easy to do…in my head…executing it is a whole different thing. I might start a project & never finish.
I think the ikea cabinet is really the hero of the transformation, well done

Love what you did to your entryway. Beautiful colors, design and organization goes a long way and now you have an elegant entry into your already beautiful home.
It's very pretty. Could use a pretty plant by the leather bench by the door.
We have that kind of door in our new constructed house, as u said it’s uncomfortable to have that see through glass side by side! Now I have the idea how decorate our entry way like you do it’s so nice and clean
The photo gallery and storage cabinet really did it for me. Beautiful , thank you

Very pretty! I wish I had an entryway that large. I bet you will enjoy that for years to come.
So beautiful and simple. I just moved in my new place and gonna be getting rid of some stuff and adding. Thanks for inspiration.
Love it, question I noticed the far left door doesn't seem to sit properly, is it slightly ajar
Watching now. I wish you would’ve painted all the trim around the door the sage color. I love what you did you the ikea unit! So pretty!
I’m here for all the lake house makeovers 🙌
Thank you for all the support!!
I love your style....everything is welcoming and cozy with a classic flare. Love it.
Everything you touch turns into a masterpiece! Love this so much! I really love the artwork. Great job, Kristen! xo
Thank you for the great idea of the art scape window frosting. Saved me money on replacing a bathroom window.

いつも素敵な動画ありがとうございます😊
Absolutely stunning! We have a similar door layout and did the frosted glass as well. Applying it took a bit of time though.
looks great Kristen. I would love to see what you would do with less muted colors, hope you can get a project like that too!
I hope u having an amazing Sunday so far Kristen! I hope Christian is doing amazing too☺️♥️💖
The hallway represent .....class and style! Thanks Kristen for motivating and sharing!
What a GREAT entrance to welcome your guest. The only piece that may need to be removed is the tall white vase. It blocks the art on the wall.
I love your whole entry way it looks like some thing you would see at a beach house
Love the transformation. Thought the muted sage color is too subtle but it did work in the space.
Hahah I love that! We can have matching homes!🙊💁🏼♀️
Kristen this looks so good! Not a plain entry way but it’s not too overwhelmed with styling either. Love it! I also love the choice to paint the trim white, it brightened everything up for sure!
Wasnt sure about the door color first but loved the way you just made it work😍😍 Can’t believe how you do that!! So talented?
Fabulous. I have saved your tips in notes for our new build next year. I would remove the door & do a complete paint.
I really like the paint color you chose for the front door little miss thing. Rocking your suntan at your beautiful lake house. You were correct to paint around the windows with white paint because after all it is a lake house and it should look clean and fresh which you achieved. Great job. Honestly, I would have turned the rug the other way. Aside from that, I liked it. The colour scheme is for sure my jam!
Love the look and it matches my style. I love the frosted look for the glass. ❤️
This entry way makeover is simply lovely & I adore everything about it! Your decorating style is very similar to mine, with natural textures, earthtones and warm lighting. Thanks for sharing your design talents, and for always giving me creative ideas for making my home cozier.😊
Yes it’s right on it I really like that lamp
Omg I'm loving it ALL. YES definitely the IKEA has n the gallery wall
VERY beautiful! And not too expensive or difficult!
Oh, what a wonderful color on the door. Everything looks stunning😍😍
I'm glad I got to see you use the window film. I've been thinking of using it in our bathroom.
Thanks
Ooh my favorite so far!
I don't have an entry way in my small mobile home but I want to create an outside space outside by the front door with a nice bench with storage for shoes, etc. I'm collecting ideas🥳♥️🥳
Just beautiful. Love that you used a large rug.
Ikea used to have the window film. I used it 14 yrs ago on a window until my evergreen screen grew. The great thing is you can easily remove it when you dont need it anymore.
It’s so beautiful Kristen!!! I can’t wait to see what’s next!!!
I love your content. So practical, stylish, informative and REAL.
Kirsten is the best!!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent
I love your decor and how you decorate! You give me so much inspiration!
Just ordered a Desenio gallery wall for our hallway, with new rug. Beyond excited!
I love the entryway so inviting and bright
Great job!!! I have a black wall next to my entryway, NOW I'm going to re think that... TY
Love how you transformed the Ikea Kallex!
Beautiful! All the textures and colors look amazing together! I have a large entryway in our new home! I am using an "old" silver metal mirror and trying to incorporate 4 photos around the mirror.
What an amazing difference. Look forward to more make overs.
From a cold empty entry you transformed to a warm welcoming entry way. The entry way says take a moment, come in and make yourself at home.
It looks so stlylish and gorgeous
Thank you.
Wow! What a difference. I love the gallery wall.
I have a woven rug by my door and it bunches up when I open it. Is there a remedy for that?
Thanks for the link and discount code.
