I've never heard of that one. Might have to give it a skim. Where the Red Fern Grows was definitely "the kid's book" in my part of the country when I was young. Kinda depressing overall, when I think about it.
Would you guys consider uploading the videos a little earlier? Every monday and wednesday i listen on my way to work, but only the Spotify is released in time
It's nice to see Dr Phil there again, and I hope you have them back on so he can finish telling us all about ducks. That truly was a great conversation! I think he needs another 2 hours
I dated a Polish bombshell for years. From my experience with the language English to Polish subtitles are where the devil says goodnight. Easy to make nonsensical mistakes in that direction and a Polish speaker has a way better success rate learning English than an English speaker does learning Polish.

Hatchet, Where the Red Fern Grows, and My Side of the Mountain. Soul food for a growing boy.

Would be cool to have for my morning cardio.
Watch it Thursday morning
Why would you need to watch a video on your way to work? I hope you're walking or taking the bus lol
The Meateater crew needs to do some wood duck hunting apparently lol

Steven brings the heat as usual.
Very good show.
I'm 48 and refer to The Malachi Crunch often. To this day, no one has gotten the reference. Was thrilled to hear Steve say it.

The adirondack mountains are the range in northern New York
Definitely never heard anyone call the Catskills “South East New York” but glad it got a mention non the less
Catskills are in the south east of NY a few hours outside of NYC. Adirondacks are northern NY.
Just FYI.. Elon is calling Twitter “X aka Twitter” today on Rogan lol

Why does Steve use the wrong hand to write?
He's always been lefthanded, have you watched the show?
Spencer is a great host, but there are some words that he straight up cannot pronounce. Todays example was "vague".
Y'all get off of Phil's ass. He knows what he's doing. There wouldn't be a show if it weren't for this artsy fartsy engineer back there.
