@@XMorbidChaosX Darkwave is great but this is not darkwave. Darkwave is goth music with synths. Twin Tribes is a modern example of darkwave.
Meldamor is goth adjacent synthpop, not true goth. And yes, there's the metal element with the vibe and outfits. I would say they're closer to dark electro and EBM, synthpop styles that are also actually not goth.

@@XMorbidChaosX Dark electro doesn't mean goth. It's dark electronic music. It's part of the scene and loved by many goths but it's not actually goth. Not everything that is dark is goth, not everything in the goth scene is actually goth. It's a very common misconception now to call all synthpop from the scene darkwave.
Goth isn't synthpop. Goth is actually a type of rock music. There's no goth rock elements in Meldamor's music.
I want to add that I'm not trying to be condescending btw, I simply want to try to clarify.
