    This is nice. But would have also loved to see the actual footage using this setup. Had tried a similar thing but without motors and it had a lot of bounce and was shaky. Still trying alternatives for this to work. Thank you for the video. :)

    I see that the motor control and potentiometer were installed on the unit itself. How did you control the movement remotely?

    I'm excited to see a 3D printer that looks like mine printing! It gives me hope! I like the idea of the cable cam too! All those sweet panning shots without having to worry about vibrations!

      My control board is no good so I can't update the firmware. I have an upgraded board on the way right now so hopefully that solves my "get it running" problems. I'm looking forward to tinkering with it to make it printer better,.

    My Idea--A Cable cam to carry Yuneec Typhoon H and its CGO3+ 4k cam could be interesting and fun to control from ST16 controller.That could lead to really interesting shots within budget.

      GeeZeRFroG a 3d printer is a tool and can be found for very cheap such as a $150 Anet A8 which deliver excellent results with a good build volume.
