Excellent video. I subbed. Im doing the same job tomorrow on my 2013 accord. Today I bought a hand impact driver for the rotor screws. Ive ruined a few of those rotor screws in the past. I normally use a ratchet with a phillips socket and a propane torch on them. Or sometimes my air impact gun. Those tools are hit or miss on those screws. From the videos ive been watching, it looks like the hand impact driver is the solution and im anxious to try it out. Ill say it again, this is an excellent how to video.
Those 2 screws are not exactly Philips, its a weird Japanese type screw (JIS). There are driver specifically for these and should help you to avoid stripping. (www.amazon.com/Vessel-125943-P3x150-Impacta-Screwdriver/dp/B003BGTTSE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1540876195&sr=8-3&keywords=vessel+980)
@@shinekraj4944 I bought this kit off Amazon years ago when I was replacing my wheel bearing. The tool made all the difference, and even worked on screws that I thought were already stripped. Also, no impact driver was required with the right tool bit!
You deserve so much more views, you the man for showing us this, I've been tryna figure this out for the longest without having to pay an arm an a leg, thanks alot man
I have a 2009 Accord EX-L and I can't seem to find front hub and bearing assembly anywhere, every store only sells bearing and hub separate which needs to be pressed on...
@@thurm101 pushing the whole bearing out and putting a new one in. Best option is to remove the whole knuckle and either get a special tool or have a bench press to get the bearing out.
Hey mate Great video and Tutorial Easiest one I've seen so far, I noticed you didn't pull everything apart like other vids. No torque specs on bolts NO grease needed is this for the Honda accord cp2 2.4l thanks
Motortech Vehicle repairs; 2015 Honda Assore. The hub refuses to come out. I used a dent puller slide hammer to no avail. Tapping a thin screw driver around the hub. Maybe a 1/32" gap but still a ways to go. Any suggestions? Great video by the way. Thanks. John
Marco Acosta where did you find the bearing and hub assembly? I’m trying to find them with the bearing already pressed in and save myself $450+. Went to a shop today and they tried ripping me off so any help is appreciated.
Autozone, enter vin# to make sure it fits, type wheel bearing and choose front or rear wheels parts as needed. Hub assembly seems easier to install all together than individual wheel bearing by itself.
This looks good as I noticed this is the rear hub...I need to change my front 2 hubs...can this same procedure be done at the front where I don’t need to strip a lot of parts out at the front???
No wasting time talk, straight to the point video.
Best tutorial I've seen around 👍
Thank you so much sir.
Straight to the point and easy to understand. Really great tutorial. I’m going to change mine out today, thank you!
Great tutorial! Helped me a lot with replacing this thing in my CL9 :)
utterly clearly demonstrated, good production value
This is honestly the greatest tutorial on anything I've ever seen. Very clear, concise and informative!
It's nice when things aren't rusted together! I can't even get the rotor off!
Hit it with a dead blow
I'm so jealous of the lack of rust on the cars in the UK

So much more easy than my swedish car.

You made it look so easy. Thanks! Now, if only I can raise the car that high...
good stuff mate well done
why honda does not go with the bolt in bearing carrier in the front is crazy. replacing the front is a lot more work
Thats 95% of Japanese cars man. Front bearings are almost always press in.
Great job. Professionally presented. Thanks
Bro this helped me so much you have no idea 🥲
Thanks! Great video. What year Honda. Hopefully this applies to my 2011 Accord.

@@MotortechVehiclerepairs thank you
Here we gotta honder Accordian
Awesome
Cuánto sale ese trabajo para llevarte mi honda, ya le hacen falta que se cambien tambie...?
made the others look like they work too hard
This is for the rear only right ? The front is not as easy
Correct
This is for the year correct?
I have a 2009 Accord EX-L and I can't seem to find front hub and bearing assembly anywhere, every store only sells bearing and hub separate which needs to be pressed on...
John Benko that is because the the front hub has the drive shaft running through it, so it cannot come complete
Motortech Vehicle repairs haha I had the Sam problem
So what’s the solution?

Great video !Would Dewalt impact drill work same as hand impact drive ?
Hey amazing video where do you guys recommend to buy the wheel bearing
How many miles on it? Did you happen to notice the brand of OEM, and what brand did you install?
I can't seem to find the torque spec for those four bolts
Hey mate
Great video and Tutorial

is this for the Honda accord cp2 2.4l

How about 2016 honda accord sport? Same?
Quick question, if the barring is dry do I still have to replace the whole rotor?
Nice job, question what size is a "7a mm bolt " ?
I believe he meant 17mm
thanks.honor a few words a lotof work
I owe you about $500! that's about how much I would've had to pay for this as opposed to the $110 I spent on just the part.THANKS ALOT!!!

syang132 no the front is a lot more bullshit to take off and mess with
It is a huuuuuge hassel and you will need an alignment afterward. Have fun!
How long did you took you to finish
it takes alot more effort to spin my wheel like this , would that still be a wheel bearing issue? or stuck brake calipper?
Unbolt the caliper and try to spin it without the caliper installed. More than likely you have to adjust the rear parking brake pads if it spins slow.
Is this the same method for honda accord 06/07 model
No it's slightly different. 06/07 has a single nut facing out in the center (under a metal dust cap). No bolts in the back.
Where did u get the parts
Is it the same process for front wheel bearings?
Tony Val no not even close
eric has competition
What is the second tool you used?
Priscilla Mendez impact driver
No not that the one you the punch and hammer
Sorry got you
What model is it? Mine is 2013 Honda accord. What might be the toque specs for rear wheel bearing hub assembly
tighten the crap out it then , then 1/4 turn after that
