How to Beat Your First Inferno -

Each week I'll be doing 2-3 runs.
The first run in each livestream/vod/youtube video will be a Budget Bofa run - this is the in-depth big explanation run with all the basic tools and tips and tricks each time.
The second run of the day may be bofa/tbow/speedrun style and each week I'll switch it up to explore a different aspect of the Inferno - or to show a different CA task.
The Bofa budget setup is the lowest gear I'd recommend, although it's certainly possible to do Inferno with much more budget setups.

Amethyst or Dragon darts recommended.
95 range, 95 mage, 80 defence, 92 prayer recommended, higher is better.
Some downgrades:
Zaryte vambraces to Barrows gloves
Ancestral top to Ahrims top or Mystic top
Kodai to Ancient staff or Ancient sceptre
Ring of the gods (i) to Ring of suffering (i)
Masori to d'hide
5 brews as a minimum is good if you want more slots for restores or other things.
Magic legs are NOT considered valuable in any way.
Ring of the Gods (i) in combination with Devout Boots give essentially infinite prayer with minimal flicking, negating the use for any Lightbearer or Eldritch, which I consider to be heavy noob traps that only detriment first-capers. Crystal armor in general has amazing prayer bonus and range defence, while Masori has all round very good defence and Tbow makes the magers rapid.
These runs have a focus on good solves, melee dig preparation, and simple prayer flicking solutions. The max gear/speedrun has more emphasis on lossless 1 tick flicking as it's very simple and I expect anyone in that gear to be capable already or capable of learning it fast.
The plugin to hide dead NPC's and prevent misclicks is "Entity Hider", mark "Hide Dead NPC's" in the Plugin. There are not many other useful plugins for Inferno, Tile Markers can be good, but don't overuse them!
Tons of players have had great success in the following days trying to imitate this style and while there will always be a learning curve to the content, putting some time in to learn the likes of 1 tick alternation at the very least will add a powerful tool to help you on your road to first cape.

You sir, are an absolute legend. The way you casually commentate this live, click tiles to share safe spots, literally throw yourself into the line of fire to teach us a lesson about not freaking out. Truly amazing. Nothing short of a GOAT.
The, “using NPC’s as pillars” advice is legendary. And keeping control of the melee tips by walking in, flicking protect melee, and walking out. Guides I’ve seen only show how to move the melee once it digs, but not how to get control of it.
I’m still watching the second half, so more to come! Loving your content man!
Finally got my cape tonight after a week of grinding never going back again lol
thanks to yours and gnomonkeys teaching streams i got my cape on my 12th attempt (3rd zuk attempt) so big thanks to you guys for being so knowledgable and being able to teach so well and easy to understand

Hey man, I just wanna say thanks for uploading these guides. Just explaining the mechanics like how other guides focus on didn't really help. But the mentality you explain in yours, like 'why save south/west pillar? I got north pillar' and 'if you wanna save them put rigour on and do the wave faster' got me to Zuk after >20 attempts being hard stuck in the 50-60's.
Didn't get the cape, planked at healers with 0 brews and 2 sanfew left, but it's a new pb when previously my pb was 1/3 of the triple jads down!

Any idea on why @1:09:21 both the mager and ranger hit me on the same tick? I started from the center and ran just like you but I couldn’t off tick them

Was there a blob or a bat in front of them? If so that would mean you move to a different tile.
I know this is now a couple months old, but at 1:14:36 wasn't the melee safespotted on the mager and you could've just kept hitting *until* the melee dug? Would've also given the 2nd respawned bat the "chance" to be stuck behind the melee as well.
Just a small thing in line with "treat npcs like pillars" :^)
I realise now how back-seaty this sounds, but you know it's a thing you can do.
Yep was indeed stuck, click melee was perfectly fine.
is it worth it to use Bowfa with masouri? or should i sell it and get crystal armor with the bowfa?
Full crystal roughly gives +15% dmg and +30% accuracy over masori, so it's always a no-brainer to pair it with bowfa. If you want higher defence, probably still better to run bowfa+crystal top, legs and justi helm over masori.

That wouldn't make much difference. You can tell which wave it is anyway

Hi, why do you flick quick prayers and rapid heal on and off when getting ready for the run?

Someone plz make this make sense... when u get into tank gear and have correct pray, please explain how this man tanks everything and im getting destroyed .... sorry am i missing a different version of the inferno i dont know about???
cherry picking specific scenarios - sometimes i get hit, sometimes i dont, there are other runs where i get destroyed but still survive with good brew & blowpipe usage.

i hear you, i watched 5 of the 10 videos, ive seen the different times when there was alot of damage and little damage but my rng is trash i guess
I think the new buff jagex did with armour has damaged the chances in the inferno, and has now made it harder for the average player, can you prove it ?
@@renegade6009 inferno is easier than ever, armor differences are completely unnoticable for avg player.

hey man nice helpful talkthrough. any chance i can get your tile markers? or are the same as in tile packs?
if no max cape, should i do range cape or assembler?
assembler > range cape/max cape
rotg > suffering
devout boots > god d'hide boots
best combo: assembler, rotg, devout
alternative if maxed: max cape, suffering, devout/d'hide
budget/iron: range cape, suffering, god d'hide
the more you down grade the more you need to flick, the max cape suffering is pretty good though since you still get wrench effect through cape
@aatykon would the new echo boots overtake devouts now? Massive defence bonus and only 1 less prayer
