Also after seeing your reaction to Bad Day, I decided to check it out myself, and it's pretty good. Never saw it prior to MMV2. Overall, I loved the mod. Definitely one of my top 3 for this year. Everything got a major glow up compared to V1. It was definitely worth the wait.

46:18 the Creepypasta with this Peach is called "Coronation Day". The day stands for "the anniversary of the coronation of a monarch, the day a king or queen is formally crowned and invested with the regalia". Its honestly a very weird and interesting creepypasta, which the story has been unsolved for many years. Although, there was an hour long video published recently, going into a deep dive about this specific creepypasta, uncovering lots of different things and clues to the lore.
Fun fact: in the instrumental of "Alone" in the part mario apears, you can hear him talking, go check it out
14:57 Real talk this was genuinely my reaction for the first few songs. I get that creepypasta mods try to throw in some joke references in there somewhere, but with the buildup from the first 2 songs, I mean come on. I would probably save those for the bonus songs. That was probably my only flaw with this mod, everything else if phenomenal.

no, the suicide isn’t a reference to the original game over, that’s the luigi design. it’s actually a reference to an event in the game where luigi is calling on the phone. during the cutscene, lightning strikes, which illuminates the room. luigi’s shadow during that flash of light looks like it’s hovering above the air, leading some fans to speculate that luigi hung himself. (the actual explanation is as follows: the light of the lightning strike effect actually comes from the camera. to be specific, it’s origin point [the place the light comes from] is linked with the movement of the camera. during the aforementioned event, the camera is moved down and tilted up a bit, which causes the lightning light origin to get moved with it, causing the light to be pointed up, causing the hovering shadow)

This mod fixed EVERYTHING wrong with vs sonic.exe
Instead of adding random unnecessary original characters, mario madness actually added iconic and memorizable creepy pastas and urban legends from the mario community. And even when they do add original characters, they know how to make them scary and actually welcoming to the mario.exe cast.
Exactly. Like Turmoil in Last Course, by himself, it's just a small Mario with weird eyes and yellow teeth, but surrounding him in half eaten, bloody bodies really shows the unique freak factor he beings to the table.
I love the fact that as soon as he said "I hate you" the second time, my earbud just up and died.

I literally cannot beat the 3rd song on Irregularity Isle. The fact that you can only miss *once* if you have a ring is incredibly punishing. Maybe making rings a little more common or just have the option to change to the regular life bar would be better.

I couldn't beat 5th song in Hellish Heights because my fps dropped to 10 and I couldn't hit the notes at all, so I let Luigi help me.

Hey there! this is not an ad but some time(or I might just let someone use my idea) I have had this great idea of a two part well two mods exactly but different parts based on my two favorite Nintendo games, FnF has inspired me to think about making mods, but yea, so if you want to hear the basis the first mod is "Friday Night Pikmin" and then second one is "Friday Night Funkin Welcome to Dreamland" but the concept or idea of the story is basically BF gets a strange letter saying he should go to "The land of Dreams"(Basically Dreamland) so Friday Night Pikmin is basically a failed attempt to get to Dreamland and they meet the main character of that game, who knows where they have to go, of course the decision of mechanics is based on the Final Smash meter from Smash with a basis on every Pikmin type specifically Red, Blue, Yellow,White,Purple, and Ice, including glow but glow is aesthetic. and also Gloom and freezing mechanic for ice Pikmin, anyways there is two weeks in that mod, one being the main story and the second week being an intermission and Epilogue for the second mod, which the week is called the "Magolor Epilogue" it's not based on the one game in return to Dreamland but more of a stuff a pretty easy one, with the exception of references and questions that are like multiple, Welcome to Dreamland however, will have a longer story improving on the 100% accurate well maybe not accurate Kirby lore, so yea that is the basis, same mechanic the FS meter or in this case the SM meter also Welcome to Dreamland's SM meter is much MUCH harder similar to how the first version of indie cross was like... If anyone wants more info then check out the posts on my account ExpensiveGold9703 for more details on story and mechanics, this is just for anyone who wants to read long descriptions...
