Been doing the guitarist thing over 40 years coast to coast jumping the ponds .anywhere, anyhow to create and support live , and semi hollow bodies have long been my go to instruments..I have strats teles, customs, but NOTHING can ever replace the MOJO of my 335...right on Emerald ...
There is one thing that ECG does consistently. That is they give the artist in this case #aaronhiebert the vehicle to showcase his wonderful talent. Additionally they, ECG let’s the listener enjoy ourselves listening to Aaron play. Well done, keep them coming.
My old guy's suggestion regarding ES-335's is that you know you have the real thing when you plug it into a handy typical Fender tube amp set totally flat, and hear Chuck Berry's tone come out the speakers.
I would trade my left nut to have my recordings sound that good. Any tips would be very appreciated. Looks like Shure. Is that the only mic in this recording. Any processing?
Aside from the great tasteful playing and wonderful; amp and guitar combo what I can hear is there is ample room sound, presumably from additional microphone or microphones and, with the amp loud, that room sound is a significant component of the recording.
@@richardelson3261 Its sounds to me like a low volume recording. Amp volume at edge of breakup, guitar volume low. No speaker breakup, only a little tube. No amp hum at all. And the mic is right up against it. So it is either a noiseless amp at low volumes, or they are processing it in a way that doesn't effect the tone. I'm no expert and I use Audacity with a 57 and can get nowhere close to that quality.
What's the best strings to use on these old Gibson 335s to keep the Vintage Sound thick 10s or 9 Guage and what brand nickel plated or not Would earnie ball make it sound to thin just wondering !!!
Their main business is specifically selling the most expensive guitars in the world. Why would they bother making fancy demos to sell guitars that would make them less money?

Hats off to the sound engineer, of course, Aaron Hiebert too but I just love how the channel records their guitar tone.

Got Dad's 57 Les Paul standard, and his 62 ES 335. Got them in 65. Am now 65. Don't need any other guitar.
Amen to that!
I came here for Aaron. Great guitar, by the way.

This guitar is number one good sound in the world.

Tried a lot of different strings on the one I use (61) Found D'addario do 10-49 nickel plated and am pleased.
definitely needs a refret :)
Gran chitarra
Some of them were made
without the pick guards.
I wouldn’t feel bad adding a Bigsby because someone has already been there before…
You should work in sales mate.... Oh hang on!
Knobs and switch tip aren't original. Should be gold reflectors with silver inserts and white tip. But awesome sounds.
Let's start seeing vintage Epiphones instead of Gibsons please Gibsons are pretty much a dead thought everywhere Epiphones are not...
