You think Apple is a group of intelligent individuals... yet they avoid simple guaranteeably successful endeavors. I have absolutely no data that I'm basing this analysis on, but I just feel that iPhone 13 Mini failed as is because those who wanted the device want a Pro model. iPhone 15 Pro Mini 9/23. I understand there are restraints from an engineers perspective. This is my opinion. I have the iPhone 12 Pro and I don't plan on upgrading until the 15 or 16. The 14 was a complete wash. The phone has been the same for half a decade now. The only reason I went from 7 > 12 is because I smashed it.
I currently have an 11 pro and am trying to decide between these two. I have very small hands so the mini is so intriguing to me but I’m wondering if I’ll miss my 11 pro cameras. I like night mode and use it pretty frequently but not so much the telephoto lens. I would love to see night mode comparisons between these two.
I just recently upgraded from the 11 pro as well and wanted the mini but it’s like downgrading coming from the pro so the sales associate convinced me lol and I went with the 13 pro
Great video. May be too late, but if anyone is curious. I feel that I could have benefited equally from the 13 Mini without paying the price tag of the pro. I personally have average to small sized hands, and the 13 pro at times feels too big, too heavy, and especially too slippery without a case. Looking back, I would've been fine with the Mini. Since I have the 13 Pro, I may not downgrade. I may keep it for trade-in/resale value. Plus the battery life on this phone has been solid for the entire year. Although, since I have an inconsistent sleep schedule, the battery health percentage has gone down much more in recent months. But that is usually preventable with charging around the same time every night/using MagSafe more often than the lightning connector/Not using fast-charger's and using regular watt chargers.
Between the two personally I would go with the 13 pro because of battery and 120hz. Both phones are small, but I find the 13 mini a mini-mini in my opinion lol after seeing it in person at Best Buy.
2 years later and I upgraded from the 12 64gb which is FAR FAR too small nowadays when one app can approach 1gb. I chose the 13 mini but after a week of use I find I am straining my eyes trying to use it so I'm sending it back for a refund and paying a little more for the 13 pro to get a 6" screen again.
I have a iPhone XR I’ve had it since May 2019. I’m going to get another iPhone on Thursday of next week because I cracked the screen and it’s horrible. The screen turned into a white yellow color and it’s shaky. So bizarre
13 mini you don’t notice the notch at all movie contact you to contact everything is the same the max versions were too much I had to learn the hard way the heaviness the hand aces nothing about the pros is worth it and there getting heavier which I don’t know how they want to do that it’s a horrible idea I got the mini because of price and The weight on the pro models is out there it’s like holding a brick
I ended up with the 13 Pro; if the Mini had 120hz I would have went with the Mini as the camera is great anyway and it would have been cheaper meaning I could’ve probably gotten the 512gb version
I'd expect aluminium to have better thermal properties than stainless steel. These aluminium frames have been stron enough on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 I've used years ago. Would it be correct to say that the aluminium frame alows the phone to cool down faster than stainless steel?

13 mini with MagSafe battery pack is the way
BEST APPLE CONTENT ❤
I could have walked out of the store with a 13 mini, but elected to order a 13 pro max despite it being on back order. I'm hoping to receive it next week. Upgrading from an 11. Can't wait!
Good decision since you’re on a 11 everything will feel like a nice upgrade :) report back to us how the phone goes for you 👍🏻
@@nickackermanchannel Update: Received the phone last night. I absolutely LOVE IT! I noticed the smooth 120hz OLED display right away. Camera is great! Anyone considering a 13 series will not be disappointed :)
This is a great video and helped me to choose the phone that fits my life better
I really hope they bring back the mini series
Great video Nick 👍🏼
I am currently using iPhone 12 mini and it’s also as capable as 13 mini does
whit 2 hours of battery life ?
@@maucr2465 5.5 hrs of screen time at 98% battery health

Nice content
13 mini is also great 🔥🔥
Nice comparison
the best recommended which to get vids👍🖤
I currently have an 11 pro and am trying to decide between these two. I have very small hands so the mini is so intriguing to me but I’m wondering if I’ll miss my 11 pro cameras. I like night mode and use it pretty frequently but not so much the telephoto lens. I would love to see night mode comparisons between these two.
I just recently upgraded from the 11 pro as well and wanted the mini but it’s like downgrading coming from the pro so the sales associate convinced me lol and I went with the 13 pro
The cameras are the same minus telephoto but night mode is better on the mini due to the sensor
I’ve been going back and forth with wanting each of these phones and I just can’t make up my mind 😭
Check my conclusion on this video :)
Same
I have both and prefer mini😍😍
What about the battery
So for hiking and nature photography still 13 pro?
I wish the 13 mini was a tidy bit bigger maybe 5.7" screen with a smaller bezel
The x,xs, 11 pro were the perfect, and not too thick.
@@abcd-hw8io 11 Pro with 5.8” was the best it just had a huge bezel so reduce that and we got the perfect mini
@@Yogi5D
yep
Or SE for Touch ID?
I have the iPhone 13 pro max in the silver color and 128gb storage. I have an unboxing video on my channel too. Loving this phone. PRO FOR SURE!!
Saw all Pro max colors and i think silver is the best color for this year. Very clean, classy
As always, great review. "it feels like you paid more for it" LOL
Clear winner for me is the 13 Mini therefore i choose the Mini is easily my pro!
Nick, could you please reply,
Which one do you think is the best, s21 or a52 or oppo f17??
Plsss🌷
S21
2 years later and I upgraded from the 12 64gb which is FAR FAR too small nowadays when one app can approach 1gb. I chose the 13 mini but after a week of use I find I am straining my eyes trying to use it so I'm sending it back for a refund and paying a little more for the 13 pro to get a 6" screen again.
So like why did the selfie camera flash at 9:50
The only reason I went with the 13pro over the mini was the camera and 120hz display (got used to 4 years of using 120hz on android)
I have a iPhone XR I’ve had it since May 2019. I’m going to get another iPhone on Thursday of next week because I cracked the screen and it’s horrible. The screen turned into a white yellow color and it’s shaky. So bizarre
Do you think its worth upgrading from s20 plus to iphone 13 pro max in your opinion?
That’s not really an upgrade more like just switching, they both have comparable features
S22 coming out soon☺
Please make a 13 pro mini
Mini just needed telephoto lens
Give me a 13 mini and pro motion and you have a recipe for the perfect iPhone, again 😭
Mini great phone ,the one for me 👌😎
iPhone 13 Pro!
if i have a iPad 10 should i go ahead and get a mini
and id be upgrading from xr
I have to go with the mini because I'm older and need something light
Legit was just thinking about this as I decide on which 📱 to get 😂
Nice 👍
I have the 13 pro and i am going to buy the mini. Can't stand the big camera. I want a phone ghat fits my hands. I love small smartphones
Love Iphone13 mini
why your trying to decide which one but wont get it until next Christmas :
i obviously go with Mini.
iPhone 13 pro upgrading for my fossil iPhone 6s 🤣🤣🤣. Every phone on the market is an upgrade for me.
Also moving on from 6s.
iPhone 13 pro👌💙
13 mini comes in a stunning alpine green & has a A15 bionic chip. Which this uploader fail to mention
even more small?
More small is smaller. 😄
Can you make a Pixel 2xl review in 2021 ?
No one is interested in that phone and I sold it
@@nickackermanchannel well, it's ok then 😪
First 🤗👍 😁😎
Got mine in that tru blue 😎
I ended up with the 13 Pro; if the Mini had 120hz I would have went with the Mini as the camera is great anyway and it would have been cheaper meaning I could’ve probably gotten the 512gb version
Jaka jest różnica w calach?
Well actually you will more than Feel its premium...you're going to Pay for that Feeling 🤣
I'd expect aluminium to have better thermal properties than stainless steel. These aluminium frames have been stron enough on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 I've used years ago.
Would it be correct to say that the aluminium frame alows the phone to cool down faster than stainless steel?
I am watching this with my 13 mini.
