- By 1961, the Stratocaster was fast on its way to becoming a cultural mainstay after Strat-slingers like Hank Marvin took the airwaves by storm. The sixties were also an exciting time for Stratocaster design, as Leo and company outfitted them with rosewood fretboards for the first time. The rosewood produced a sweet attack that spoke to everyone from Hendrix to SRV! Our Wildwood 10 1961 Stratocasters pay tribute to the great Strat boom of the sixties, and we think they embody the sweet sounds of that era to a T. We have a wide variety of colors, relic'd finishes, and neck profiles on tap, so we invite you to browse away and find a Strat that plucks your heartstrings. Once you do, we're sure you'll fall under the spell of the Wildwood 1961 Stratocaster.

Absolutely awesome color
Ahhh the gristleman, gnawing on a pork chop.
I live for the bridge position. Never disappointed.
Holy Hell! Can we get a view of Greg's opening salvo before you faded out of black? It was gristle-tastic!
It's all in the wrist..... Gregory Kochery Master at Rockery
This color...
Andre the giant hands.
Avocado anyone?
Great finish . . . Too bad they scraped so much of it off.
That must he one hell of a guitar, it sounds wonderful..... and we all know Greg is rubbish
Relic guitars are a bad concept. The manufacturer wears out your guitar for you, and you pay extra for it.
Rolled fretboards are a fantastic concept, the relicing is a finish option that you CHOOSE to have, it takes time, do you expect them to do it for nothing? And it's not "worn out" it's worn it
"Wears out your guitar"... More like it's broken in - and of course you pay for it. Are you really young? If it was a bad concept, they wouldn't be selling thousands of them...
The wear patterns never look anything like those caused by actual playing.
If Stevie's #1 and Rory's guitar had never existed in real life and and had been custom shop creations you would be saying the same thing about them....... also breast implants rarely look natural, it doesn't stop people wanting them
You have opinions and no one cares. 😂. What a bad concept.
