How to make a better multi tape holder/dispenser

- In this video, I made a tape holder/dispenser to organize all my tapes. Because of the French cleat system, I can hang them to the wall and simply unhook the tape holder I need.

As far as the french cleat system...just a few floating shelves in daughter's bedroom. Maybe I'll get around to doing more woodworking. My family hates the smell of polyurethane it seems.... So the very few times I may have to work on stuff...can be a challenge for this guy.

Thanks for the shout out! I use french cleats to hang almost everything I make that's to be wall mounted. In the shop, I used it for tool storage. Love the tape holders, a very elegant design.

Funny how a lot of people don't like MDF, but it's super flat, easy to work with, cheap, minimal prep for painting, and perfect for applications such as this.

Depending on the project i love MDF too. Especialy when i need to sand curves in it. The downside is that you create a lot of dust. Thanks for watching my friend.

Ah the dust, tis the bane of many a good maker...
I make engraved wooden books, and MDF is an absolute pleasure to engrave,
whereas lumber with all its grain direction and knots is a nightmare to get neat thin delicate lines.
Cool idea! I like it. I've thought about just using a saran wrap box and sticking a dowel rod through some reinforcement wood on the sides of the box.... But... Out of habit....every time we go through a box.... I end up recycling it the other way...by putting it in the recycle bin. Then I think DOH! 😇😎

I have a problem chris.. Everyone like your design but it must be heavy. . It is not heavy i can not cut with my one hand.. it is moves during i cut.. How can i add iron on it? I hope you can understant my problem

Hi buddy, I don't have that problem, but I think when you are going to add some rubber or anti-slip on the bottom it will fix the problem without having to make it heavier.
