Wow!!!! An incredible BLAST!!! From my past. 1967, I was all of eleven years old, I came from a large family. We loved to dance and listen to music! All the families in our neighborhood also enjoyed the same. We’d hang out on the porch with a record player and blast James Brown, and tried to emulate his dances. They don’t have talent like did back in the day.
Watching clips of the hardest working man in show bizniz never gets old. Not only was he an iconic showmen, but the man invented a groove that has been a bedrock of popular music rhythms for the last 50 years or more!

I haven’t finished watching this video yet, but one of my favorite James Brown “moves” was when he’d pretend to be completely worn out and his associates would come out with this huge cape, war it around his shoulders and proceed to assist him off the stage 👍🏽😅😂🤣 When ALL OF A SUDDEN, James would throw off the cape and push rush past the startled associates, only to do a Super Crazy Funky dance move and/or sing the rest of the tune! 😅😂🤣 It was just so original and too good! So keeping this in mind, I was watching a Prince and the Revolution video from way back in the day, and right in the middle of “I Would Due 4U”, all the music stops, the lights go out.......and about 20 seconds later you hear Prince scream “I’m not done yet!” 😅😂🤣 and THEN did some of the baddest moves and splits you can imagine! That was thanks to James!

The Godfather of Soul. Truly the hardest working man in show business. One of the greatest performers ever! We love you Brother.
My dad’s all-time favorite performer. My dad was such a big fan of his he would often copy many of his dance moves and could do them pretty well.
A true God in his own right. James was a man of pure funk. Black and Im proud as a little girl empowered me. After that I never left the James Brown train. Love it. Black History month is James Brown.
Saw Mr. James Brown in 1969! To this day I'll never forget that Funky Concert, or those Moves
Wow! 69’ the early days of the Bad Brotha! That’s nice man🙏🏽
James Brown’s moves were next level and before their time in some aspects. In these videos I can see how much he influenced Prince’s showmanship overall. Just an incredible, amazing hard working artist.
Amazing. I grew up in 60's & 70's and even back then, we knew no one could touch the Godfather of Soul. Watching in 2024 & still can't no one do it like JB. He was talented, high & in heels . My favorite was papa don't take no mess & the big payback.
This man had so much energy
That he had to give it up and turn it loose on the dance floors all over the world 🌍
Thank you brother James Brown

TRUE, TRUE, TRUE GODFATHER OF SOUL. THE ONLY ONE NEVER WILL BE ANOTHER. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤TRULY MISSED. R.I.P. MY BROTHER. I ENJOYED EVERY BIT OF UR ENTERTAINMENT ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
JB had the best footwork & what a dynamic & accurate band supporting him.
After James Brown there is no other... thee baddest entertainer #1 soul brother
One of the greatest dancer that ever lived. Thanks for sharing this. ☺️
My pleasure 🙏🏽
Watching clips of the hardest working man in show bizniz never gets old. Not only was he an iconic showmen, but the man invented a groove that has been a bedrock of popular music rhythms for the last 50 years or more!
I saw him live at the Garden on my birthday after he was released from jail. A perfect performance is what he gave and he can play every instrument in his band. During the intermission BT Express performed. Best concert I ever went to..Raw Talent 👍🏿👍🏿💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏿🙏🏿🔥🔥😊💕💕
I haven’t finished watching this video yet, but one of my favorite James Brown “moves” was when he’d pretend to be completely worn out and his associates would come out with this huge cape, war it around his shoulders and proceed to assist him off the stage 👍🏽😅😂🤣
When ALL OF A SUDDEN, James would throw off the cape and push rush past the startled associates, only to do a Super Crazy Funky dance move and/or sing the rest of the tune!
Smiles, hi Deborah 👋
RIP Mr James Brown 🤎🤎 One of the best artist of all time 🥰👍👍👍👍
Amazing footwork !!! Like none other... Often imitated but can never B duplicated..
Rock n roll pioneer and the undisputed Godfather of soul!! King James Brown!
I love watching James Brown gliding his little small feet across the floor. It's as if his feet never leaves the floor. He was definitely the "hardest working" man in showbusiness. 👞🕺🕺🎶💗
Seeing him do his thing always made me feel alive.
That ain't no lie!! I love his energy and his enthusiasm for his work!!! ,It never gets old. Live my brother Ms. Yvonne Teat.
James Brown and little Richard opened the door for a lot stars to go thru and succeed and not given any credit until their passing. Freakin shame
