I was picking around on this PRS AX20E today, pulled out my Beatles Bible (The Complete Scores) and it opened right to "Don't Let Me Down." Perfect! I've always loved that tune, and (like every Beatles song) it has a killer melody, bassline, chord changes... you name it! I worked this arrangement up in the key of E, adding some bluesy inflections, and a free-form intro.
Tone-wise, I am using this new PowerTap Earth pickup from Fishman, and am running it through my @MadProfessorPedals 51RT Amp Head and @APIAudioOfficial BOX console.

Don’t Let Me Down was recorded during the “Let it Be” sessions but it was NOT on “Let it Be”. It was never on a Beatles named album but only on the Best of 1967-70. Just a little fun fact. I think it’s one of the greatest Beatles song and your rendition is fantastic!
It was on my "Let it Be"
I had it on a 45 single. "Don't let me down" was the b side to "Here comes the sun" sold as a single.

Hi Justin,
I've had a pretty incredible week here. Back on Nov. 4th, I found I had tested positive for Covid 19 so went on quarantine for several days. After the period, most of my symptoms had abated but i still had a persistent cough and stuffy nose, both were typical symptoms but they just wouldn't leave. Finally on the 10th my State coordinator called to have me checked for a secondary infection and the test showed my lungs were still full so I was transfered for 4 days to the Covid 19 unit at our state capital hospital. They gave me the meds I needed and I got home yesterday.
Listening to this song helped me heal a little bit more. Thank you Justin.

Ya can’t let music this good detract from your own playing enjoyment. It isn’t good for “the listen” and it really isn’t good for playing.
I’m sure every player who listens to JJ can throw down a lil sumpin I’d love to hear.

To learn how to play well you just gotta get your hands moving and just really go at it. You have to focus intensely and really get into it. Start slow and easy and warm up at first and gradually build up from there, and eventually you'll make it all the way. It takes awhile to reach that stage though, you have to take your time and be patient. For some styles of playing you want to have long nails, but for this style you should have your fingernails cut as short and smoothly as possible.
