I've been trying this for awhile its super simple and fun, and the satisfaction of one more piece of your bait being hand made by yourself is a great feeling. And its extremely cheep, I had to scrap a tone in the beginning finding the right epoxy though....damn air bubbles 😆

just finished designing my eyes! also just bought some anchor hocking cups to microwave my plastic and went to Ollies bargan outlet to buy some cheap zoom baits to melt down! also going to buy the angling ai open pour 5in swimbait mold soon!!!

What about punching plastic dots to make epoxy eyes on, then painting the back of the epoxy? I'm gonna try this next chance I get.

Mod Podge Dimensional Magic works great as well for the eyes. It bubbles up and doesn't run off onto the tape.

I'm wondering if I could just do this with card stock. The holographic vinyl isn't really showing underneath, and card-stock isn't super strong, but if I put it on my lure carefully, and then coat the lure with a couple clear-coats, it should be fine.

We use water slide a lot. I actually used it on the lure I painted for you with your logo

Hello, kinda of topic question but we’re did u get the thing you use to mend the skirts onto baits. And can u use the coreshot mold for just regular stick baits?

First you got me hooked on making plastic baits. Then came the hard baits, with Marlin Baits. Then came rod builds. And now this!!! One of these days I'll have to quit trying to keep up with the Joneses. 😂
I am trying to get into bait making but I was wondering if I have to apply worm oil to the mold before I inject plastisol?

My eyes go on crank baits dipped in alumi-uv. So I just cure them with a uv flashlight. And there fine.
You been having any problem with shipping I've been waiting on glitter & a mold that's been sitting since the 6th in Indy for some reason

Shipping is really hit or miss. I sent something from Illinois to Ohio in the second week of December. The receipt said it would get to Ohio on December 14th, but my friend did not get it until January 2nd
