You made that look easy. I’ll have to give this a try.
At the office and binge watching your channel. Can’t wait to get back to the lure office now.
By the way, I am in need of new clear coat and would like to order True Coat epoxy. Shipping doubles the price when ordering direct from their site. Any tips about where to get it in Canada and avoid the crazy shipping?

Hello Mikko, once again greetings from Peru. Definitively you are an Artist Master... with your permission I will try to use your technic to do my next 3D eyes. I was doing my own 3Ds, but never thought to paint over the epoxy. I did painting first over the hologram disk with transparent paint or applying a decal that previously I did with ppt, and then apply the epoxy. Do you think that following this way I can do 5 and 6 mm eyes???? Do you have any additional tip for me, because the eyes that I will do are smaller??? Thanks a lot, Antonio.

yeah you can, i have done that in the past with the same technique shown in the video

Hello again Mikko, thanks for your reply. Today I will try your technique doing some blued and greened eyes. Only just one question more. I will use hologram foil to do the disks, but what is the one that you used in the video?. It seems quite different to all the ones I have. Cheers, Antonio

In complete honesty and in no way a criticism as I am a huge fan of your work having learned a colossal amount from you but I prefer the way you did them in the beginning, it showed that each eye was completely worked by hand with the brush detail under the epoxy. I think when we start to go too far with accuracy in detail we are in danger of producing lures that replicate the excellent but perfect and totally symmetrical factory produced versions.

kuntibolox each to their own i guess. i prefer this method now a days because it sinply looks nicer to me. Thanks for watching 😉
