So amazing that you also love tulsi!! Here in India, we have forests full of vana tulsi, even my mom has a mini tulsi forest. My favorite is krishna tulsi, its purple leaves are very pretty!
I grew the krishna variety last year for the first time and I agree, it is exceptionally beautiful! A tulsi forest sounds so amazing, I'd love to see that someday! Thank you for watching!
I’d love to see videos of you in the kitchen!!! Thanks for all these recommendations! So excited to see you garden this year. We have ground cherries that grow native here. We moved last year to a new build home and had some growing in our yard. I totally forgot to try to harvest/ safe a plant before the landscapers did their thing.
Thanks so much. Years ago it was you who started me on my plant journey. I saw this goth girl on you-tube & couldn't get enough. I started with some houseplants, and now I am growing outdoor plants from seeds. It's so much more fun to grow plants that are different than what everyone else has in your area ,because we are all buying from the same big box stores. And who knew what an amazing variety is out there. This will be my first year trying veggies & am super excited---can you tell ? haha Any & all video types are great & I'm glad you said something about succession planting.... never thought about that. Happy Spring
Ok this made me cry! I’m so happy you’ve tumbled down the same path with me 🥰 it’s crazy it’s like “wow I’d like more houseplants” and then suddenly you’re looking at wheelbarrow reviews for your mini farm 🤣 it feels like you never run out of new stuff to try and learn. It’s the best!! I hope your seedlings grow strong and healthy for you 💚💚
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who enjoys flowered Cinnamon Basil in flower arrangements! I used to grow it alongside Zinnia about 6 or 7 years ago now, and it's easily one of my favorite flower combinations but everyone always looks at me like I've crazy for it!
I grew fruition's delicata squash last year and after having so many animal problems (not even my tomato plants were safe) they performed so well they revived my love for gardening. So good!
Our favorite slice tomato is also the Thornburn's Terra-Cotta! We tried it last year and is the only tomato we have found that beat the Cherokee Purple tomato. We will forever have both of those varieties in our gardens! We always have Sun Gold cherry tomatoes as well. Sun Gold are always the first to ripen and the last left on the plant to eat. So prolific! We are in 7a E TN. Oh! You reminded me, I am out of Habanada seeds and have to order more now for indoor starting! Thanks!
I highly recommend Uluru Ochre if you love the flavor of Thornburn's Terra Cotta. They are a lovely indeterminate dwarf variety that is so hardy. They do great here in the Pacific NW, and are heavy producers. If you're interested in a dwarf tomato trial this year, I also highly recommend Boronia, Dwarf Confetti, Adelaide Festival, and Chocolate Lightning. All amazing flavors. Boronia and Uluru Ochre are my Ride or Die for both flavor, and production.
Loved this, thank you and because you broke it down it was easier to absorb for me. I'm so looking forward to your new varieties seed video now! And I've already earmarked a few must tries! One of the ones I have been trying to find for 2 years here is the silver slicer! No luck.
@@PamsPrettyPlants I always thought no, I should have just asked my seed industry husband 🙈, apparently it is possible, I'll message you on IG tomorrow 💚
Will be adding some of these to my grow list this year! Thank you 🙏🏼 I love tomatoes, especially ones I can snack on as I do my garden rounds.. besides the Smurf cherry tomato I’d have to say pink tiger is my fav! A mix between a cherry and a Roma. Very prolific, beautiful pinky-orange fruit.
This video came at the perfect time. Certainly put me in the mood to start planning my own garden this year. Still under tons of snow…..but Spring is coming 😊. Would also enjoy videos on cooking from your garden.
I gasped out loud when you said "King of the North". I grew it last year for the first time and will be planting it every year. It is hands down my favorite. I recommend it to everyone I know but I don't hear it mentioned often.
Oooh I think I have all of the vegetable seeds that I have space for this year but I am definitely tagging this video to watch before I order seeds next year! Those peppers seem really neat and I also absolutely love Tulsi this is my first year I’m going to grow it myself!
Thank you for introducing me to Tulsi! After reading about the medicinal properties of this herb, I definitely need it in my life! ... now, off to find some seeds in the uk! 😊👍
I'd recommend Alice's Dream tomato I grew them for the first time last year and they are the must have tomatoes that I am going to grow again this year.
Hello! I found your video looking for ideas of what and when to plant in zone 7. Your video and channel has been very helpful! I look forward to watching your garden grow in your future update videos. I also make garden videos. I’m so happy to be able to learn from others like you. Let’s be garden 🪴 buddies!
I have a fabulous Delicata squash recipe I will have to send you. Very excited for your garden this year & just a bit jealous cuz I have very limited room given my Philly row house. But I will try to get my hands on that cinnamon basil. Your swoons of ecstasy were very persuasive. 😂
Seeeeeds! We love seed! I'm hanging out for your carrot video! I know I don't use fine enough soil, so there is NO uniformity and there is lots of wiggly wild carrots :P #BuyPamADishwasher
@@PamsPrettyPlants if you're looking for an interesting beet, try dolce di chioggia. They're mild flavoured with red and white striped flesh (like a bullseye) and when you pickle them they're the most beautiful pink. Perfect salad beets, can't recommend them enough. One of the few odd coloured veggies that's actually better than the "normal" one, imo.
Hudson Valley definitely has some in stock, but you should be able to find it fairly easy elsewhere too. It's one of my favorite things in my whole garden.
Thank you so much for introducing me to some unique veg. I headed over to Fruition and immediately ordered the delicata squash, pineapple ground cherries and the smurf tomatoes. It's going to be a fun and hopefully productive summer!

I'm learning to accept that chipped polish is also a look. These seem like fun seeds. I can't wait to find some of my favorites.
Chipped polish= at this point I assume women with perfect manicures must be lazy 😅

Your room looks amazing!! The teal and gold is beautiful!

Fools! We know the truth! 😂
Placed my Baker seed order last night. They are donating 100% of sales to Ukraine through tomorrow.
Saving my sanity right now Pam, gracias for happy times.

Yay! They have such good varieties, you can tell Petra and Matthew put a lot into their selecting!
I absolutely loved this run down!! I def need to work on planting more varieties. You are so good about variety! Variety! Variety!
I want it all! Always! 😅
Can’t wait to see them growing 😍 & the flower seeds vid & plants.
I'd def like cooking harvest type videos. Also didn't realize they have vine borer resistant squash dur!
Better living through breeding!

Idk why I’ve never grown sun gold. I always did honey drop which are a sun gold hybrid but I should really give the OG a go.

I am sooo excited for the tour of snacks season of gardening. Half the stuff I grow (and all the berries) rarely makes it inside 😂

Literally the only sweet pepper I haven't struggled with!
I'm interested! I'm interested! I would love to see how some of these are used in cooking or not even cooking salads any of it I'm invested LOL.
On the same page about the dishwasher!!! GOALS I need one so badly!😂
I feel like I’ve suffered enough!

I have a lot of this list to try this year! I'm so excited to try and I am hoping the squirrels let me get a little bit of a garden this year. 🙏
The devil works hard but squirrels work harder.

Absolutely, I’m about halfway done with one I just need to work on pulling it together. I’ll get on it!

First sweets that didn’t just rot on me 😅 probably human error tho
I just ordered two types of bonsai tomato
Seeds!
Wait until you see how adorable they are!
Nice picks! Looking forward to growing scarlet nantes carrrots, watermelon radishes, silver slicers, tromboncino squash, and now thornburn's terracotta tomatoes myself! 💚
Let me know what you think of them!!
Haven't watched yet but I hope you like hot peppers! They're so fun to grow

Yes we can do it! Save my hands from sadness! 😂

2?! 😱 I’m struggling in 6 😩
@@billstolaronek615 it has its advantages when it comes to pests and blight, but the short growing season leaves very little room for error!
I thought I had it bad in 5b-6a. I would love to be in zone 7. I dont know how you real northerners do it.
Gotta find cinnamon basil!
I'm trying so hard to resist this one. I started 5 different kinds of basil yesterday and will probably end up caving on a 6th lol

Has anyone grown self-pollinating cucumbers? Planting “Muncher” this year for the first time.
Oooo no! I would love to hear how it goes!
PAMMMM can you do a video on when to start seeds and just help. HELP MEEE thanks
😂 I got you! Garden planning is next on the filming list for this week!
Hi I need to discuss about vegetables seeds business
I grew Amish paste last year and had an awful experience with them. It was probably my fault. Depression sucks! Anyways. I’m trying again this year.
Tomatoes are such divas
