Nice list, I didn't know more than half of this games. So it's a worthy one for me :) And I think you are right on the topic of Early access: I'm always refraining myself to getting them before the release, for fear of missing content that can be added at release. In my opinion, is better to wait for release and have the complete experience.
For sure. I keep an eye out for them as well. I do have some of the games mentioned already, but I'll just wait for full release to consider playing them. I've had my fair share of early access games, they were great, but after release I just find it difficult to jump right back in it.
After spending many hours in survival games, especially in ARK, I can say that I'm kinda cured of this genre 😂, as AMR said, only Nightingale look interesting enough, at least for me, to give it a shot😁. I avoid it not because they are not good, but this genre tends to "eat" a lot of your time, and I try to focus on others more. Happy Gaming!
You're not wrong. These games don't respect your time, but man they can be so much fun. I don't believe any of the games are at the level of complexity as Ark is, but they sure are awesome! 😎
Survival has been a very difficult genre for me to get into, but from the videos I saw Palworld has a really interesting gameplay loop. When we get Survival combined with Horror, thou, I'm out immediately. I'd never play Sons of the Forest, for instance
Sons of the Forest is more dark than horror. It might still shock you at time when enemies pop up out of nowhere at a turn, but overall it's not that horrorish. Palworld is definitely the opposite direction. It's very friendly and colorful, and if you like Pokémon you'll probably like the idea behind it.
have most of them, stopped playing most of them, great games but waiting for updates on all of them ... but with the fall of AAA industry its a great investment into the future so i have something to play when i return to those games
I clicked off the video because it's yet another video where people just list 10 games, but in no particular order of preference. The entire reason I am watching a video like this is to get someone's opinion on what survival crafting games are their favorites and which ones they prefer. Have the stones to put them in order of which ones you prefer the most. If I just wanted to see someone list 10 games with no order of preference, then I would just google "Survival crafting games" and read a list of them.
I appreciate the feedback. The reason why I have not made it as my top 10 is because I have not played most of the games listed. This is based on my research and trying to go over what the reviews say about the games, not my personal selection. If you want my personal take on them they would be games from much older times that I played. I normally write disclaimers if I haven't touched the games and just reporting in for people to further go and do their research.
i'm not very interested in the survival crafting/building/farming games in general, i don't have much patience for these kind of games. from those in the video i may try Enshrouded if i get my hands on it, it looks the most interesting to me. also maybe Nightingale, it looks promising but i don't like the mixed reviews it has at the moment.
Enshrouded is well received as far as I know. Many people have it on their radar. Nightingale needs more content. It's still in early access and it has a lot of potential. A lot of people did try it out though so for now, I'd wait, but definitely one of the good ones out of the others on Steam.
@@GamesofthePast2000 I noticed that too looking back. I believe as I was doing the cuts. I have worked better at not being so harsh on the cuts sides as they were too many and in a way or another more annoying. I don't know for sure, but I believe you can see some changes in newer videos I made recently.
Maybe check the title and see why. Ark: Survival Ascended came in EA in 2023. Ark: Survival Evolved is a game from 2017. If Ark would have had a full release this year I would have spoken about it or include it in another list.

I must admit, I like this kind of videos of yours. Keep em coming Vash! :)
Thanks 🙏🏻
Great list. Loved Enshrouded and I enjoyed the soulmask Beta. Only surprised you didn't include V-Rising on this list.
That game completely went out of my mind because I've played it so many years ago in beta. But that's a really good one too.

Nice selection, I think only Nightingale is on my wishlist already.
Recent update says that it got a single player mode now. Great stuff!
Another list! Nice one :)
@@Rezonono Thank you 👍🏻

Indies and AA are thriving right now. I'm surprised AAA Publishers never dared to get their hands in this genre.

I only played Palworld, survivals are definitely not one of my favorite genres in 2024😅
Enshrouded does not have a procedurally generated map. It is static.
Thanks for the correction. 👍🏻

You are so close to blowing up man just keep practicing and learning pronunciation.
Thanks man! I constantly work on my self. Which part did I mess up regarding my pronunciation?
@@tale_play Yeah like you say "SoulMark" instead of "SoulMask". Stuff like that.

in my opinion sons of the forest is best of them
Really like The Forest, did you play it?
@@tale_play yeah i tried from steam family share still need some fixes but overall it's great
The fact that you don’t have Ark on here proves you know nothing about survival games

sons of the forest is trash
Did you play the prequel? Was it better or you just don't like it?
