they will probably just treat it like world of warplane, mostly ignoring it and letting its 10-100 players stay on and just rely on WOT, since they seem to keep it fairly well balanced minus a arty buff from time to time that destroys the balance.
A minimum of a 6 year rollback is required, keep the tree ships and balance them out. Make carriers before the rework and make them work for each kills and make the AA stronger to punish bad plays
It's not even sad, just pathetic. I hope the guys from the graphics department get a job that is appropriate for their skills. Also, people don't want to play, it just means we must add more premium subs and carriers
I made a few battles (>tier 6) a couple of weeks ago, during the weekend (day) and it was almost a bot battles... In like 10 battles I didn't lost one. every battle was with a different ship... won all. Even when I played extremely bad.
I played the game a little, and while the aiming is better than WT naval, the fact that SO MANY OF MY ROUNDS go over or below where I aim is incredibly stupid.
I think the key words uttered were "waste of time". I like to see Flambass play, and Jingles' commentary is historical and hilarious. And that's about the only thing good I can say about WoWS. Don't even get me started on WoT.
I play wows since 2017-18 and just witness the downhill show that WG decision made during the years is just pain. I stoped playing so much since submarine come to be a thing, CV were pure frustration but sumarines just become a greek torture.
Funny enough, I don't doubt for a second that WG would watch this and say "See, we were right! It was a close game.", never even getting the point that this whole thing sucks.
I never play random anymore some rank and CB only. Any mode where I don't have to play with subs or CVs, but its getting worse and worse and I'm playing less and less.
The super carrier matchmaker has been horrible for a while, I noticed it takes quite long to get games on Sekiryu no matter what time it is, and in some cases I get games similar to what we're seeing here and/or with just a few more ships. The MM is faster on Devastation other non-CV ships.
I tried to get into the game after a 2 year or so break. 2 days was enough for the another years of pause :D If it ever gets back into playable state let me know please.
Super ship in queue longer than 4 minutes this is what happens. You need to leave queue before four minutes and hope other guy does also otherwise this happens.
Myself and 5 other mates had played the game for 5 years non stop. I stopped playing and deleted it from my PC 6 months ago I couldn't stand the direction the game has gone. Not one of my other 5 friends has the game installed anymore. Well done WG your ignorance and arrogance have destroyed a once brilliant game
Its a known bug with matchmaker, Superships that stay in queue for so long, it panics and starts a game with whatever it has ready to queue up as soon as the 2nd SS queues up. Its been in teh game for as long as I can remember. Used to happen with regular CVs that sat in queue so long by themselves. You have to back out of the queue before the 2 min mark and requeue
I read a lot of comments complaining they added this ship, and the add cv's they added subs etc. Embrace it, learn how to play them. Only then you realize they are not overpowered as you might think. Man up and learn how to counter these ships.
I quit about a year after the carrier rework. Not sure how many ago that is. I think I've logged back in once or twice, but it's just not as much fun as it used to be.
Reminds me back in 2016 when that one CV player spent 5 mins waiting in queue for a second guy to hop in the queue and the 8 other guys playing got dragged into a 5v5 match. Where everyone would complain about the CV's not leaving the queue and re-joining after the 3min mark xD Except this time it was Flambass' fault...
Its ironic, when wows first came out it was a breathof fresh air. You knew if you were spotted, and the initial skills reworks went fine. Then CV rework and subs - something changed, they went from player friendly, to transaction focused. GG
2 years ago, i had a match with a 1v1 Carrier battle at tier 6. It was the most surreal battle i had lmao. We just rammed each other to finish the game

I used to play alot back when the game released. The game is much more simpler back then battleship beat cruiser. Cruiser beat destroyer and destroyer beat battleship.
I stopped playing just before subs were introduced, so glad i did 🤣 Im a big fan of battleships, especially the older stuff. Problem is 1920s ships weren't built with AA in mind, so watching two carriers obliterate my defenceless vessel with absolutely zero counter play. I dont get why they couldn't do something like Battlestations Midway/Pacific. Carriers were powerful, but you could manually control the AA and have some actual gameplay against enemy air craft so it was fun.
the only reason that Georgia survived was because you kept missing entire supertorp drops. That's about it. The ONLY way a ship can survive against a supercarrier is if the supercarrier makes mistakes. 10/10 design.
I had a tier 6 2v2, carrier and a fubuki on each side, i was in the fubuki and my carrier died almost instantly - , this game was my worst nightmare (excluding getting anally violated by the empire state building). Fortunately i'm very experienced in the fubuki and managed to win the battle with about 30 plane kills. Utter horrorshow MM though.
Well I was focusing on festive rewards and am at tier 7 now only a couple of hundred ships left to grind but they were all full matches at about 1pm yesterday.
Flambass you should know or have you forgotten if a cv has been sitting in que waiting for 5min then the next cv is auto drop into game regardless I have been in hundreds like this 2 is rare but yep been there
Picks super cv midworking day, breaks the MM on his own, complains, plays so shit almost loses a 1 vs 1 eith a Georgia in an EAGLE. Truly impressive I must say.
Only started playing a week ago, so just using tier 3 cruisers and destroyers. Are there any alternative naval battle games like this please? Can feel myself getting suckered in but think should find something else rather than ink time a be money into this
Nice job Wargaming! 2-4 minute wait times, an average of one 6v6 random battle a day and that's NA server during the day. And now seeing this. What a joke!
I get it, I tried to get back into the game this weekend as a casual player. I wanted to get into battleships so I tried the US battleship line and just spent a weekend getting nuked by carriers and subs. It was hell I couldn't do anything to counter, especially at the lower tier where I was playing. edit: the NA server is 80% bots
I thought gaijin was the most stubborn company out there in gaming but at least their corporate recognized the backlash against war thunder would eventually kill the game. Wargaming has now become that and looks like they will never change and never accept that they did something wrong, their ego killed it.
I remember I played this right after release, and it was so much fun, especially with battleships and carriers. And I also fondly recall playing Cleveland. Such a beast back then. But I quit it in a year or two cause of getting bored and never came back. I'm so glad I did so 😅
It's crazy to think that in the future it will be even harder to get the solo warrior achievement... Because games won't be big enough to hold four players on each side
I quit the game when they released submarines. I started playing WoWs in spring 2015 in closed beta and invested a lot of money for premium accounts and ships - and I really loved playing it. But I do not further want to support Wargaming with my money after a so many bad decisions in the last years (introduction of tier XI, removal of camouflages, subs, new CV gameplay)... I wish Wargaming would read this comment section and could see the amount of disappointment they are responsible for.
Been there since closed beta when the game was fun...now, what a joke. The game is painful to play and very dissatisfying. The very first group of people to reinvent this game with no Cv's, no subs, or an opt out button to not play with trolls is a billionaire.
now hold up, what time zone and what time exactly? 1 PM right? is it like 01.00 in the night time? because i hate to separate PM and EU time each other.
pm and eu time what? 1pm is 13:00, one in the afternoon. I think flambass is in central EU time, maybe Central EU+1 not sure, but either way it'd be early afternoon.
I said since release that having CVs in a surface combat game was stupid. Then they added subs to a surface combat game and it got worse. I quit two years ago after spending THOUSANDS on ships and such. I loved it when it was good, but so happy I quit when I did.
To be fair if you play at 2am-6am on EU you could always get games like that. I once won a game because it was base cap and the put my DD against 1 cruiser and for whatever reason they went for my cap as I went for theirs.
Haven't seen this but playing tier 8 and have been put into a lot of tier 10 games. Honestly ranked to some degree has saved my experience cause ya its becoming crazy. So much money grabbing now.
meanwhile Gaijin (WT devs) are being quite generous with the community in the last few months, they have a whole roadmap of changes, very good changes too, what an odd time to be alive

Rest in piss, you were too good for your dev team. Art department were the homies though
i agree ive tryed to give wows the best chance but after 5k battles i really cant deal with all the bs anymore
i had a T10/T11 game on 12th of August at 11:44 AM which was a random battle 6 vs. 6. i was wondering what happend... i have done some screenshots, because i cant believe this.
Yah, because it's a statistical anomaly or a technical thing. This is not representative, i wonder why most people here think it is.
the supership queues are pretty busted right now because it turns out people got tired of playing superships.
Yesterday (Sunday) Evening i had two 9 vs.9 battles (Random) on the EU-Server one on T7 and one on T6, i played in a 2 man Divi.
@@vende6137 I don't think many people think it's representative in general, but it is representative of the downward spiral. WG can only shit on people so much until there's nothing but whales left.
It was submarines that did it for me, logged in for the first time in 3/4 years today, and most of the players were bots! Such a shame
Tried coming back a few weeks ago after a 5 year break due to the CV revamp. After 8 losses in a row while getting torped and set on fire the entire time I'd had enough.
Who knew making balancing decisions and adding a ship class nobody wanted would backfire!
What balancing decisions?
Sorry if i missed a lot, haven't played WoWs in a good while.
I am sad about that state of the game but I am incredibly happy that WEEGEE in their infinite wisdom are going to lose to their arrogance
I am seriously hoping WEEGEE sells this incredible game to some company that can make it fun
they will probably just treat it like world of warplane, mostly ignoring it and letting its 10-100 players stay on and just rely on WOT, since they seem to keep it fairly well balanced minus a arty buff from time to time that destroys the balance.
ITS WHAT IVE BEING SAYING FOR MONTHS! Co Op is the only thing that will save wows now or a FOUR YEAR ROLL BACK! Cheers
I quit playing after joining my friends because everyone who was playing was an old salt. The learning curve was incredibly steep even before subs.
Sad for Georgia he did really well and almost got the pelt.
The only way I'll download this game again, is if they decide to bring back the Big Hunt Sci-Fi event battles.
I would say that the core of the player base is quite old witch would mean that at 13:00 Hours most are probably working maybe thats the reason.
When half the reds became untouchable CVs and subs was the time I started playing Starfield 90% of the time.
I play wows since 2017-18 and just witness the downhill show that WG decision made during the years is just pain. I stoped playing so much since submarine come to be a thing, CV were pure frustration but sumarines just become a greek torture.
Georgia after game: "Please rate your satisfaction with this game" 🤮🤮🤮
U-boats killed the fun of my games …. Frustrating and I stopped therefore random battles ..
That's just crazy... I haven't been able to enjoy it for a while now but wow that's just rough for the game.
I tried to get into the game after a 2 year or so break. 2 days was enough for the another years of pause :D If it ever gets back into playable state let me know please.
I hope this is what everyone who queues CV and especially super CV has to play
We only see matchmaking like that on the NA server in the early morning hours
Super ship in queue longer than 4 minutes this is what happens. You need to leave queue before four minutes and hope other guy does also otherwise this happens.
Myself and 5 other mates had played the game for 5 years non stop. I stopped playing and deleted it from my PC 6 months ago I couldn't stand the direction the game has gone. Not one of my other 5 friends has the game installed anymore. Well done WG your ignorance and arrogance have destroyed a once brilliant game
If they took the CVS and SUBS out of the game they would have a TREMENDOUS influx of players back. They are just STUPID in management decisions.
Had a 4v4 yesterday. Also with superCVs. A DD each. Kinda lost when our Marceau died to a Daring and we had to push. Good times.
Where everyone would complain about the CV's not leaving the queue and re-joining after the 3min mark xD
Except this time it was Flambass' fault...
So much less stress after ditching this 😁, freed up cash to go and pursue iRacing instead
In high tiers it’s difficult to make credits, especially with the
give Starfield a shot. When you like fallout 4, you might like that as well. Typical Bethesda game though. Starts low and then catches you anyways.
@@ImpavidiProgrediamur my PC is too old. Plus I’m retired on a tight budget.
@@akula9713 Not to push you to get it, I am waiting a good while until modders fix the bs and add actual content, but if you have a rig that will run FO4 you can probably run starfield too.
I remember when we was in OMNI together and you joining. That was what 7 years ago. Mad to think but not surprised at games demise I left ages ago
I used to play alot back when the game released. The game is much more simpler back then battleship beat cruiser. Cruiser beat destroyer and destroyer beat battleship.
I stopped playing just before subs were introduced, so glad i did 🤣
Im a big fan of battleships, especially the older stuff.
I stopped playing 4 months ago, best decision ever... I'm way more relaxed :)
Flambass you should know or have you forgotten if a cv has been sitting in que waiting for 5min then the next cv is auto drop into game regardless I have been in hundreds like this 2 is rare but yep been there
nah he would rather be salty and have a clickbait title for his video
@@Fezz206 To be fair, it's not exactly clickbait to say the game is dying, overall player count is dropping, not increasing.
Picks super cv midworking day, breaks the MM on his own, complains, plays so shit almost loses a 1 vs 1 eith a Georgia in an EAGLE. Truly impressive I must say.
WoT never had this issue when it was at the same age WoWs is now. Funny how that works isnt it?
@@19Crusader91WoT is also substantially bigger. Funny how that works
@@19Crusader91 wot games also last about 3 minutes on average so that's kinda hard to compare.
@@ainumahtar Thats not point you dented gluesniffer.
That’s sad, but I appreciate the game bring me so much fun in the past.
Man I use to love taking battleships out, it makes me sad to see this is what’s become of the game
This is what the silent majority wanted. Didnt you see the random lines they drew and called graphs?
From CBT to patch 0.8.0, then left, wanted to come back this summer, saw the forums got shut down and saw it wasnt worth it anymore.
Had a battle like this a few years ago, and thing 2v2, cv and bb battle. Crazy
Carriers and subs plus power creep killed wows.. its a real shame because early on they really kept a lid on it.
I remember I played this right after release, and it was so much fun, especially with battleships and carriers. And I also fondly recall playing Cleveland. Such a beast back then. But I quit it in a year or two cause of getting bored and never came back. I'm so glad I did so 😅
Dude I am so glad you are doing other content now. If only weegee had listened to you and flamu - at a MINIMUM - this game would still be enjoyable
I tried but the grind to the top tier ships is way too much
It's crazy to think that in the future it will be even harder to get the solo warrior achievement...
Legends is doing great, just finished playing for like 4 hours, full lobbies every time in T IV and T V ships
Just look at the "Fun" experience that Georgia is having right now.
"We will never add submarines to this game..."
-The Chieftain (On behalf of Wargaming)
I said since release that having CVs in a surface combat game was stupid. Then they added subs to a surface combat game and it got worse. I quit two years ago after spending THOUSANDS on ships and such. I loved it when it was good, but so happy I quit when I did.
The Matchmaker servers at their peak at 1pm
To be fair if you play at 2am-6am on EU you could always get games like that.
I once won a game because it was base cap and the put my DD against 1 cruiser and for whatever reason they went for my cap as I went for theirs.
Haven't seen this but playing tier 8 and have been put into a lot of tier 10 games. Honestly ranked to some degree has saved my experience cause ya its becoming crazy. So much money grabbing now.
I never have this problem but then I play almost exclusively co-op.
I was once in a game as a carrier, against another carrier, that's it. It was like 1am, but still not a great feeling.
meanwhile Gaijin (WT devs) are being quite generous with the community in the last few months, they have a whole roadmap of changes, very good changes too, what an odd time to be alive
