Maybe I will revisit this series down the road. I let my anxiety get the best of me, and in the time it took me to start thinking about the next episode, I had shifted my focus to more gaming-oriented videos. Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the few videos I was able to make!
Yeah I'd get that too if I'd listen to Radiohead for too long. Hehe. In all seriousness, when I was depressed, I listened to it a lot. It's entangled with that feeling for me. Still good music, nontheless.
I think I speak in the name of many of this video's viewers when I say this: this video is the second best video I've ever watched on this platform, but the most poetic one by far, as beautifuly written as the song it's explaining: a real piece of daydream... I hope you'll find the energy to continue this series. I've got to admit: I discovered your channel thanks to your Elon video (shame on me?), but this video I'm commenting on right now is the one that got me to subscribe to your channel (and I hope I'm not the only one in this case)!
As much as I love 2020 Schlatt, this series was truly the peak of what he could do. With amazing visuals, addicting writing, and a lot of interesting content. I absolutely adore this style and hope to see it again one day.
Schlatt should remake this. however Schlatt knows he could never create something as powerful, as he has let his mind fog over with ideas of his own perceived notion of perfection.
@@joao-c1l yeah, in all seriousness schlatt has the ability to be a very multifaceted content creator, we don’t really see much of him because he’s usually playing a character and I think the fact that these videos show a more serious side of him is what makes them so interesting. As well as the fact that they’re just really well made, I don’t even know what he’s talking about in half of these and they’re still enjoyable.
Schlatt is a really cool guy, I love his video essays too, unfortunately his videos have shifted more towards gaming content and videos with friends though
I’m so glad I can finally watch this again. This series single-handedly introduced me to and made me a fan of Radiohead. This is beautifully written, edited, and thought out. Thank you so much Schlatt. I cannot express how much I respect and appreciate you for making this. (Edit: grammar)

Well, people enjoy different things and so does schlatt. He might have enjoyed making these beautiful videos about "Ok computer", but he also might have enjoyed having a laugh.
This is probably the most amazing video I've seen in the last 2 years! The song is awesome, and the analysis you made just exposed all the geniality of Thom Yorke in a simple and short video... You turned an analysis of a masterpiece a masterpiece itself! Such an amazing video!! Keep doing this outstanding job!
I used to listen to radiohead for fun, when I wanted to relax, but after I watched your Radiohead videos I thought of them in a whole new way. While I was listening I would google the lyrics to so I could understand and I would think about the lyrics, and now all I listen to is radiohead
Only just found out about this series, i love all of schlatts videos but my god his a tribute to videos are another beast of content, hoping maybe sometime hell come back to them
not sure why but when i watch these kind of videos made by jschlatt i always feel like im about to cry. just... his soothing voice mixed with the calming piano music in the background as he speaks with such interest and passion about something. it makes me emotional for some reason. i love these videos

This video made me take another listen to OK Computer once more. I regret not finding Schlatt in his prime. I'm happy for him now and the new direction he plans to take, but man do I miss the more analytical/thoughtful side to him
I don't think I've ever felt more upset about a series being shut down by youtube, just these 3 video essays on this album has captivated me far more than any other "music reviewer" has. Truly unfortunate it was stopped prematurely

Back here at almost 1 a.m. and glad I stayed up to watch this. This song is just everything that I am and you sculpted my thoughts perfectly.. lately I've been feeling quite small in this world. But then again, don't we all. Thanks for this, schlatt.

It's really tragic Schlatt didn't finish this
ikr i need him to
He has a lot to say for a man whose main joke is just saying "you know what they call me" over and over with different names attached at the end.

You dont wanna know why they call him that
