Schlatt is from NYC, he never really had an accent until he allowed it to form later. Watch all of his old content and learn from him. Some of its actually really life helping.
Schlatt in 2017: I’m going to go ahead and make a cool well edited video about the future and an interesting series that will give people a better understanding of what I’m talking about and in the process impress my teacher and classmates with a project. Schlatt in 2020: They call me gay @ss.
Black mirror sounds like the new Chinese social rating system that they were talking about putting into place except rather people ranking you, it is the government that ranks you on how good of a citizen you are.
Can we all take a second to just appreciate the amazing sound editting in this video? Seriously, the audio in this video is so clean. ESPECIALLY the transitions.
Almost a year and not even one single dislike. 😲 I have to say I'm impressed, this is the first time I see something like that. And to be honest, who would dislike it? I love "Black Mirror", and I think this video perfectly summarizes the whole point of it. By the way, my favorite episode so far is "USS Callister".
I'm watching your old videos, and I really like these. No pressure, but maybe you could make more of these someday? I think they're informative and intriguing, and your sense of homour adds well onto them!
Glad this video was recommended! Not sure if you ever go back and read these comments, but Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch was my all time favorite. The interactive portion of it and all the little Easter eggs are mind blowing.
Got recommended this video and now I'm binging all your old ones like this from like 3 years ago. They're really interesting. I forgot about this channel. Hope you do videos like this again in the future if it's the type of content you'd still enjoy creating.
Damn that episode where he did all shit, like you said the one you were rooting for, wasnt actually the good guy at all... really hit home after recent events with youtubes state right now. Love you schlatt keep up your amazing work
please make more of these- i watched black mirror ages ago and this analysation completely knocked me off my feet. you’re incredibly good at video essays and i hope they make a comeback soon
"50 minutes in and the character who you've sympathized with and rooted for the whole time turns out he wasn't as innocent as he thought he was" -- The Carson situation put into other words. Kinda trippy how something from 4 years ago has that impactful of a meaning.
the BM episode about rating people seems super intriguing but all I can think about is the episode of Community where it's literally the same thing but funnier
This is one of my favourite video's of yours second to the Minecraft tribute, I still enjoy your new comedic style but this was well thought out and put together!
i remember watching this video a couple of years ago and instantly subscribing. this kind of content is so cool and something i personally love to watch. if im being honest i don’t really like your new content, schlatt. i miss stuff like this and your tribute to mario kart. even though i’m not a fan of your newer content, i hope that you enjoy making it : )
thanks, your video is the last one i needed in the push to start making my "hell planet" bookmark folder a reality. i really appreciate the way black mirror also reflects so many of the design paradigms around user experiences that we see more and more often, with the same visual design aspects, and i really hope people pay more attention to the way subtle design manipulates your behavior if you're not constantly vigilant about it. also your editing, especially sound editing, is fucking wonderful. 2:41-2:50 was such a great transition. how tf do u mix so good
What the heck. I just finished watching a video about Schlatt being a big brain and predicting controversies and I just let the next video play and it was this one and I had NO IDEA that this was Schlatt until I saw the logo. Genuinely mind blowing the difference between his personas.
please keep doing these videos, although your format in content has changed ive fallen in love with these videos and they’re something fresh and honestly a fresh of breathe air from everything else i’ve been seeing on this site
I love how schlatt has more recent videos on his live channel than his actual channel....when he hasn't been live in over a year lmao. So chaotic it's perfect
I loved this video. Yes it may be a little old but its good. I would love to see more show reviews from you schlatt. Though I can find this side of you on the weekly slap, I think it's good to switch things up on your channel. I can watch anything you make because i always know that you'll put your 100% in.
this is one of the videos that makes me want to improve editing and content creation. all of these videos are so inspiring and i really wish you would do more stuff like this
It’s funny. Nosedive is slowly becoming reality. Like the cancellations that are frequently happening on twitter simply because someone did something that isn’t even that important.
We actually watched Nosedive in my college Sociology class last semester because of its relevance to our modern lives. I still think about that episode often.
its so weird hearing schlatt without his accent
@@SoapaHolicc he still sounds like he's from Brooklyn to me, but not as much as in the newer videos.
To be fair, it has been 3 years
Viktor I think he really does have a Brooklyn accent it’s just over time he put more emphasis on it for comedic effect
He probably tried to push it down just like some youtubers with accents have done

China *is* black mirror.
Talking about? They're actually doing it. A few companies are doing trial runs with it. The government wants it to go live in 2020.
