Is it weird that I kinda don’t want that for a myriad of reasons? I know that the style wouldn’t change, but there’s something about the intimacy of the channel that keeps shit real…
@@andreawilson6887 100% i don’t want it, but it would be deserved. I highly doubt though that there are 900k people out there with as niche an interest as the community we now have. Cheers, mate!
What a video! Going to have to watch this again. I wondered if you would put one of my faves on the reference ginger list and you did! Can’t thank you enough for these videos - they are amazing. Really pleased that you’re enjoying this time with your daughter and making that your priority- we can never get that time back so I’m glad you’re making the most of it! Enjoy life Ram! We’ll still be here enjoying your content whenever you post 🫡🐏❤️
Thanks a lot for everything .. I learned sooo much from you about the fragrances & still looking forward for much more .. I can say I almost watched all your videos during this year .. your channel is the only fragrance channel I follow & watch on a daily basis .. God bless you & your family my friend 🐐🙏😊
I want to try and find a bottle of pre-ifra-compliant Rogue’s Chypre Siam. Oakmoss is my favorite note of all time. That style of Chypre is something I’m very interested in too.
Well Fougere is my favorite genre, and I have bottles of both Bracken Man and Bon Monsieur. As far as a modern Fougere, I'd add Tom Ford Beau de Jour, which was released in 2017. I recently discovered a new niche limited edition fragrance very similar to Beau de Jour called ARC by Mallo. I guess 2003 is too far back to be considered modern, but the quintessential Barbershop Fougere was released that year. YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme.
Yes those are great additions JT.. I don't own Beau de Jour...but could have included Rive Gauche Pour Homme although I think I did a Barbershop Fougere & Amber Fougere this is not a top ten so maybe I will break the categories out in future reference videos
First, thanks for all your encyclopedic work, again and again and again! Then, indeed, I confirm, VC&A have achieved, since last year, new versions of Tsar and Pour Homme, 75ml for 160 euros, for the moment only availables in their perfume boutique in Paris - I tried Pour Homme : not so shitty, really, the spicy dark rose is still here, the woods too, and so on, the dandy side, but, alas, everything is watered down, no more a powerhouse, and the beautiful earthy cuir accord in the end, now, is, to my nose, sort of quiet. It's more like the 2010-2011 version, launched to go with a movie celebrating Serge Gainsbourg (in France a very famous musician, filmmaker and writer, perfume amateur too, who wore, as a signature, Pour Homme, among others like Antaeus, Habit Rouge...) Same thing for Tsar, still beautiful, but watered down. Also, we can say the two are a little bit synthetic, in the top notes mainly. I guess IFRA struck again. Nevertheless, way much better than the actual average. SOTD: Megamare, by Orto Parisi ; seaweedy, humid, sandy, dirty salty sea, in the same time natural and chemical, curious fusion, not my habitual taste, but, here, good good, and powerful. As you said in one of your last reviews, Gualteri is a very interesting perfumer!
Fantastic run down, and certainly must be challenging to limit each note to the top 3. Was a little surprised that Chypre Siam took the position away from Chypre Palatin. Cheers!
Glad to own at least 1 if not 2 from each category! The result of being a loyal Ram-team 😂🙏🙌🏻 Sotd : Areej Grandenia ! One of my least favourite Areej , but it can still takedown most niche fragrances out there !
It was one of my least favorite Areej Le Dore as well.. but I want to smell it again.. I had like a 1ml sample that I blew through like 4 years ago Thanks for being loyal to the Ram-Fam 🐏
I’ve been draining my bottle of Chypre Siam recently, side by side with Coty Chypre, they’re so perfect. Agree you need a bottle man, I’ll look around. Sent you a sample of Roger and Gallet Blue Carnation, I hope it’s not one of the ones where the label rubbed off-if so will send another. It’s stunning. Fleurs de Rocallie is also amazing for carnation! Can’t do coffee, trigger migraine. Reserve right to edit when I can get back to video 🤘🏻
😂😂😂 Yes that carnation sample is somewhere... my problem is I just haven't had a chance to smell everything as I am not one of those people that will smell 30 things in one day... I like to take my time wear it to bed and pay attention to it... so sometimes I am SLOW to getting around to something but that Roger & Galler Carnation easily could have been in this list
Fabulous reference video Rams , Dad daughter time vital bonding brother it definitely pays huge dividends as she transitions to teens and beyond, when Dad’s in her corner she will have the confidence to take on the world by storm ⛈, have a wonderful month brother 🤛💪👍
For sure.. if you watch one of my NOT A Top Ten Chypre videos it's in there.. I would just take Diaghilev Over Jubi 25 for women so that's why it didn't make the reference video
I'd have to disagree with people comparing church incense to Comme des Garcons Incense - Avignon, it isn't as incense as what you'd get in Catholic Churches. You should try Elixir Attar's - Sacred Incense, that's what's realistic incense.
I think they share some similarities to my nose... I am not saying Manny Cross is Coty but I am saying I enjoy wearing Chypre-Siam as much as I enjoyed wearing Cotys Chypre 🤷🏻♂️
Ram you deserve 900k subscribers.
Thank you brother... maybe if I just do the same top ten designers for Men like Jeremey Fragrance over and over again I will get there 🤣🤣🤣
