@@bam9039 yes it includes the Yakata, of which there were many colors to choose from, you can also use the Hanten (thick jacket) if it's cold and you want to explore the outdoor are which i highly recommend
Thx for sharing this video I have a question when it’s better to going to Solaniwa in the morning or evening? And the Yukata are you buying it or are you rent the yukata?
Hi on weekends I recommend go there early as it will get crowded with locals. Generally day time prob better since you can enjoy the outdoor garden and foot baths. All yukatas are free to use, you get to choose the colors at the entry. If you want to go outside but it's cold, feel free the grab a hanten (jacket) which is also free
Hi Caroline, we didn't try the stone sauna so not 100% sure, but based on previous experience in other public onsets such as Spadium in Tokyo, areas in which clothing are required (e.g. stone sauna) are usually mixed gender.
There are some onsen hotels that have larger private hot spring bath for each room, and some like the one I stay at that had large private baths that you can book just for yourself or your party, usually 45 min slots
@@farizafaris2532 at Solaniwa they have 10 private open air onsens that's avail, prob should book it before hand though. Check their website for dates and avail, enjoy
Thank you for your shared.
Welcome, wish you a good trip.

Bathing in the onsen must be totally naked right?
Hi Paris, yes for most public onsen in Japan it's totally naked, men and women are separated.

Do you know if they allow sandals (specifically for indoor use)? Due to foot problem my husband can't walk without any footwear
