Niš-Pirot-Dimtrovgrad about 86km, but very problematic in places. They started recontructing this in november 2023 and estimated that it would need about 3 and half years that to be complectly finished Replacing everything, so recontruction then after that goes electrification, plus from time to time they aim to let it work this old way... they dont want to shut it off completely, plus very problematic 17km part around Sićevo Gorge (forget about any high speed there ). In all yeah, that would take another 2 and half years to be completely recontructed. So, somewhere by the middle year 2027. And yeah, there wont be any passenger traffic before this completed
Thank you for the detailed info! I don't expect high speed in Sićevo Gorge, but may be something like 40-50 km/h is possible? And for the rest if the speeds are about 70-80 it will be good. After the reconstruction if a passenger train can take Niš-Dimtrovgrad for less than 2 hours, this will be a major improvement!
It looks awesome, I need to visit someday
Really good video, mandatory to visit for trainspotting
Ça fait rêver, merci !
Excellent video my friend. I like Your work so much. Have a great weekend. Greetings. 😉 BIG LIKE
Спасибо за видео. на UA-cam я мало видел видео с поездами из Сербии.
Истински кеф за гледане! Жестоко видео! 😎

Excellent video!!
When was this recorded? The line is shut down for reconstruction and electrification
Those videos were recorded in Dec 2023 - Feb 2024. Currently the line is not completely shut down. At some days there is movement.
TSS-Cargo soweit weg von zu Hause....kein Wunder das man sie nicht im Elbtal sieht, wenn sie in Serbien rumfahren
Thanks for the great intro especially in English. Any idea when the electrification will begin?
Thank you! I don't know when exactly the electrification will begin. I suppose when the track renovation is finished all the way.

Goods traffic needs no high speed lines. If the tracks become well maintained, they would run with speeds up to 60 km/h...
The trains will run with even more than 60 km/h if the tracks were maintained well. Some sections are designed for 100 km/h.
LOCOMOTORAS AMERICANAS SON LAS MEJORES.
LO MEJOR DEL MUNDO MEJOR QUE LA ELECTEIFICACUON
No doubt soon to be upgraded with Chinese funding?
I'm not familiar, bit the Chinese funding is highly possible.
Die Güterzüge fahren..., Personenverkehr gibt es nicht mehr, unmöglich - unverschämt.
I hope the passenger traffic will return after the reconstruction of the line.
Na kače vagona milion na Lokomotive koje nemaju snage uopšte da povuku sve to pa stavi dve neka teraju
