USC Faculty Group Marches in Support of Student Protestors

- During a peaceful march on campus, USC faculty declared solidarity with student protestors and condemned the university’s actions over the last two weeks.
The “March to Protect Our Students” occurred shortly after today’s special USC Academic Senate meeting, where USC President Carol Folt and Provost Andrew T. Guzman addressed faculty questions regarding the antiwar encampments and LAPD’s presence on campus.
After marching from Bovard Auditorium to the campus’s main entrance, Devin Griffiths, faculty organizer and associate professor of English and comparative literature, addressed the crowd, stating that the faculty were marching in protest of the university’s actions against students. They demanded public apologies from President Folt, Provost Guzman, and other administrators, both to the valedictorian and to “those students and faculty whose safety has been jeopardized.” The speaker went on to affirm the faculty’s support for the valedictorian.

All students have equal right to all spaces on campus because they’re all paying for it. You can’t let protestors camp out all around campus restricting other students from freely moving where they want. In other words, it’s not the protestor’s right to take freedoms away from other students. There are better way of doing this that don’t make the protestors look like absolute pieces of garbage constantly.

The school should be explaining to professors that if they're unable to fufill their contractual agreement to teach, they have to leave.

The "core academic mission of this university" was compromised when your kiddie comrades chose protest over class. Lawn camping is not on any list of available classes.
Once the path of intent was clear, the university had nothing to do with inviting law enforcement. The school's charter has been violated, and all monies received from taxpayers fraudulently acquired. As one of said taxpayers, I invited the cops.

Israel receives tremendous amounts of funding, your taxpayer dollars, and tuition fees from the US government.
