They are most likely being calm about him being drunk, because if they cause a big uproar that there is a doctor who is practicing while inebriated, then every patient and family member there might panic. Better to handle is quietly.

I used to smoke spice for 2 years every single day i was addicted to it. I even got withdrawals for like a week when i quit cold turkey. I got intense anxiety when i quit too lasted like a year then the anxiety went away on it's own. They would say that the spice had bathsalts, or that they would spray it with RAID, and spray it with powerful white synthetic cannaboids to make it even stronger. Im glad its illegal now.
All of the things “they say” are bullshit. Synthetic cannabinoids can cause damage like that on their own, they’re far more potent than THC and the natural cannabinoids.
I've had many similar lines placed in my chest, next, arms etc and haven't been knocked out for any of them. It's uncomfortable for sure (especially the tunneled central lines) but it's not toooo painful. They do numb certain parts as well, but the numbing is mostly the worst part. There's only one truly painful step, and the pushing and pulling sensations feel very gross. They'll put more numbing in if they can tell that the pain of what they're doing is worse than the pain of the numbing needle. It's a hard balance to keep
I remember when Spice just came in my country. It was legal and told as better alternative, except by doctors. Soon enough teenagers was being sent to hospitals, having short and long term health problems. Even seen once how it affected one guy. Looked he would die any moment for about 30 minutes. Luckily, nothing serious happened, and good night sleep was enough.
One night while my father's kidneys were failing, I fell out of bed and started crying and screaming. He had a breakdown and physically assaulted me . I was only 4 years old. I had 2 sisters and a brother. Mom had to make the choice to stay at home the rest of the night with me so she could protect all 4 of us. Went to the hospital in the morning just to be sure I was ok. Daddy was arrested for child abuse. I can tell you that person who hurt me that night was NOT usual behavior for my father. Toxins that were usually filtered by his kidneys weren't being filtered and it basically made him crazy. He'd never lost it like that before. He got treatment for his kidney problems, which advanced to dialysis and a kidney transplant a few years later. He never hurt any of his kids after that. Kidneys not working right can have awful effects on the rest of the body.
He was drunk. He threw up immediately after this and in a later episode we as the audience find out he had been battling mental health issues for some time and took his life shortly after.
Hospitals are required to treat you regardless. In most cases most of the bill is written off as a loss for taxes. The reality is in most cases those 700k bills people like to post online are before insurance or the hospitals negotiate or come up with more realistic pricing. Still massively overpriced but in someone owes a hospital half a million with no insurance or methods to pay thats more the hospitals problem.
What happens in other countries when the doctors don't think they are paid enough for their skill level - are there enough healthcare workers to meet demand
I hate going through somethings that cause me to go to the hospital. I do NOT like having a case of the somethings 🙄. Glad you made it through your something and are indeed ok. I’m ok too 😊

It's more than just knowing that God is real. To be saved from your sins you must choose to believe on God's only son Jesus Christ. He is the only way to eternal life and a life of peace here on earth. Our sins separate all of us from God and the only way to have our sins forgiven is through what Jesus did when he died on the cross and rose again. Admit your a sinner, be willing to turn from your sins (repent). and choose to believe on Jesus. He is the Son of the one true God, He died and rose again to pay for your sins. and aks him to forgive your sins and be your savior. He will. "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23 " For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 It's a free gift. Choose Jesus because NO ONE makes it to heaven on their own and he loves you.

Poor Dr Wheeler! Awful what happened to him in the end, you can really see the stress and fear in his face. Great actor
How are they so casual about a doctor being drunk while on call.
Alot of medical professionals turn to Alcohol some even abuse it, the long hours, the stress their under and how emotionally taxing it is 😢

@@WarGrowlmon18 I didn't mean that they wouldn't dish out justified consequences, I just meant they didn't want to make a big scene in the ER area.
Also I dont think he was drunk while working on the patient i think he left & drank after what happened, so its not as bad as it couldve been

Drugs can make people crazy and delusional. Also can be very dangerous.
Is that what happened to them, they took drugs? Is that why their kidneys are failing?
@@cashewnuttel9054 i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. drugs can mess you up both physically and mentally.

One is less serious than two, plus it was just a needle hole. It will heal on its own, especially since it’s an ER, it’s not a huge deal.
Greetings from the state of Kentucky.
Well that's awkward we have never seen a 15-year-old boy punching a doctor on Chicago Med before
I watch Chicago med with my best friend all the time if I go to her place and we both love so much

What they don't tell you is how painful it is to have a tube in your neck 😮
They’re in a coma so I don’t think it would have mattered to say how painful it would be while awake
@@bullseye3805 I've had four of those tubes in my neck before so better to be in a coma so you don't feel it
luckily they knock you out and numb you up but yeah you definitely feel it when the drugs wear off lol

No. They don't let people die. They give them massive medical bills and/or take their house.
