Without solid mods All fb groups eventually go the route of the FB Mommy Group
They are Infamous for just being the worst to people and dog piling and such (i say this having joined the group, likely in 2020)
Not my call, but if i were you, id think Hard on what the rules are and have some solid mods as well
not to be used as a cudgel, warnings and education goes a long way with most folks
But to keep the space respectful ESPECIALLY considering the context

*Respectfully* disagreeing is a good requirement for a platform like this. Getting rid of “the nasties” is not necessarily a bad thing. Zawn Villines had a GREAT article about this a few days ago. You might find it really helpful - she had some very good thoughts on when it becomes necessary to censor. “The Key Ingredients for Building Meaningful Feminist Community,” and it was one of her free articles, so should be accessible. Hope this helps you. You’re doing great work.
