Strict is not the word that I would use to describe..Mr.Charlie Chaplin's abuse towards his kids..in a filmed interview..his daughter..Ms.Geraldine Chaplin and one of his sons..Mr.Michael Chaplin mentioned that their dad..threw them out of the house..Mr.Michael Chaplin even stated that he"Didn't live up to his(Dad's)standards".
Mr. Chaplin still earns his kids' respect and love, so just call it tough love.
There was evidence of ill treatment towards Michael especially. We talked about it when I met him in 2008 as my parents were also abusive. There was violence after Michael was caught using drugs on one occasion. And Josephine alluded to it as well.
It’s possible that, having been raised in the Victorian era, physical violence towards children was commonplace. Coupled with a desire to make the children remained grounded.... on one occasion Sydney pointed to the maid and said “let her pick it up-that’s what we pay her for”. !!! As a victim of child abuse, even I would have lost my temper if my child said that to me!! 😱😱😱
Charlie's Body was grave Robbed. ..I think Geraldine laughed over it. . Charlie's. . last road trip.
