- Hey Stitchers! Welcome to another bonus video from me this week (I know, I spoil you!).
I recently purchased two new sewing books and who doesn't love a good book? I know I prefer an advance look before I buy so I thought I'd share my thoughts with you on here.
Chatty style as always, enjoy a little flick through!

Pleased to report that inside the front cover of the GBSB book is a QR code that takes you to the PDFs, phew!

The gbsb modern wardrobe book dies have the pdfs available a4 and a0 on the publishers website so hopefully they will add the new book too. Thanks for the reviews 😊

Thank you for reviewing the books Jenny, I really enjoyed your vlog. I will probably purchase both books at some point, I got the mini makes Indigo pattern free in the April edition of Simply Sewing magazine, I have just started making it today for my Granddaughter Anna who is 2yrs old. ❤😊

"Enjoy your ramblings " , absolutely love to see your vlogs. I agree, the sewing bee book probably worthwhile for me but the idea of tracing 😮😮😮!! I'm going to the UK soon and maybe the book might come home to Ireland with me😊

I enjoyed your review jenny strange they have done a shirred dress as it was in the Modern Wardrobe book from 2 years ago- the sizing was off in that book it gives measurements but not final measurements
Was it?? That seems a bit weird as you say! I like to see both sets of measurements to be able to make an informed choice (usually about my hips 🤣)
I enjoyed hearing about both books & want to purchase the Tilly book. I love the shirt you are wearing, did you make it & if so what pattern & fabric did you use please?
Thanks Louise, I’m glad you enjoyed it! It’s the Pattern Emporium Ocean Daze Very Oversized Shirt (bit of a mouthful) and the fabric is my riviera linen blend which is out of stock right now but hopefully I’ll get some back in in the coming weeks xx

Hi Mary, they're printed on both sides of the paper in that one so tracing would be needed. However Tilly does have the pattern sheets available for download on her website xx
