Saver - Takk for innsatsen

Hvor mange liv har denne maskinen og mannskapet reddet. Hvor mange familier har de gjenforent. Hvor mange barn har fått sett sin mamma og pappa komme hjem igjen?
Hele kysten til Norge.
Hele nasjonen lever i dette minnet.
En del av fokesjela. Så lenge folk har levd er det noen ting alle kjenner til.
Ski på bena, hytte i fjella, fisk i havet.
Sea King langs kysten.
I dag 11. desember har Sea King stått sin siste vakt med 330 skvadron.
I 50 år siden 1973.
Lenge leve kongen i våre minner.
De som ble reddet vet det aller mest.
Takk for innsatsen.

Some things are in our memory that we all know.
Skis on our legs, cabins in the mountains, fish in the seas.
Sea King along the coast.
Thank you for all the lives you have saved.
Thank you for the service.

This was the last air show with the Sea King, 11th Dec was the last day on active duty. I’m sorry I haven’t gotten subtitles up yet from the rescue mission. Hopefully soon.

Haha I'm just the cameraman! This was the last display of the Sea King while in service with 330 Squadron Royal Norwegian Air Force, callsign SAVER.
They, the crew and everyone on the ground keeping these SAVERS airworthy for over 50 years are true heroes. Saving families, making sure their father and mother can return home.
