I really hope the flat adhesive mount is available in the package, I don’t have handlebar space to fit one on my bike, so I need to fit one to the glass of my mirror, it’s the only option for me!!
Have you ever tried using an apple watch while riding? Your jacket covers it for starters. its near impossible to use with gloves on... I wear an apple watch most days, and its almost useless on the bike.
@@MotoNZ I meant to mount it on the bar, not wearing it as a watch while riding. Sorry, I didn't make it clear. I meant they seems to have similar price point and the watch have more functionality. Just curious.
Apple Watch will lock and go into sleep mode if not no your wrist. They’re simply not designed to be used on bikes. Beeline is purposely designed to be on your bars.. and works really well with the app. I have nothing against the Apple Watch, but I just can’t picture it being a useful solution. I would be more inclined to buy a Cardo packtalk edge and connect to my phone. Then use Google maps and navigate with the audio prompts only… Just my thoughts. By all means give it a crack and let me know how you find it.
More battery but also taking more from it , heavier and smaller graphics. More expensive. Like the simplicity of my beeline. Newer is not always better. Just more
@@MotoNZ thanks! Not sure what that means though. Older version has no on screen speedo function? Basically I’d like to be able to use it as a speedo when I’m not using the Navi . Cheers
Correct, old one has no Speedo. New one will have speedo function according to the release info supplied thus far. Keep an eye on this channel, as soon as we get out hands one one we will do a video showing all the features.

Does the new device fit on the handle bar clamp of the earlier model ?
sorry, couldn't tell you, have not actually seen one in person yet.
Good to see ya!
Why I should get Beeline instead of getting a Google/Apple watch?

Nice! Does either version have a speedo function?
Sure do, they say the new model Moto II has a speedo readout.

Velo2とのちがいはなんでしょうか?
sorry, I am unsure, I have not used the Velo2.
Does it have voice output via Bluetooth?
No. But it doesn’t need it as it’s still paired to your phone which is in your pocket, and your coms kit would be paired to your phone also.
@@MotoNZ So you get voice prompts for navigation from the Beeline phone app?

Yep, he’s good like that.
