It wasn't Waldman's statements that made Heard unpopular. I'd never even heard of him until last week. It was the public who 'blew it up on social media' the public hate her, that's down to HER, not Waldman. She's on audio saying she hit her husband, let's not forget that.

I just made a similar comment elsewhere. I didn't know about then as well and only 1/4 of the negative tweets about Heard referenced them.
Her reputation was ruined after the picture was published with her w/o a bruise a day after the Ro hearing, the poop story, UK deposition was available, and after everyone listened to the audio clips.

I keep hearing her say that Aquaman is the most successful and highest grossing film of all time “if not for in the top 10 highest grossing films” (or something to that effect)… not only is Aquaman not in the top 10 highest grossing films, but it’s not even in the top 20… by what metric can they possibly call that film the most successful film? If they mean in the DC line of films they should explicitly say that

Well, seeing as it was all over the international news that she and Depp refused to follow Australia’s bio-security laws when they entered the country, I’d say A LOT of people knew who she was before the Op Ed. I know cause I was living abroad at the time and saw it in the news.

To be honest, I didn’t even know or remember she was in Aquaman (& Zombieland). I only found out through this trial. I think it’s fair to say that her performance in the movie was not memorable at all, at least for me. Actually, I had never heard of her until this trial. My husband only heard her name when she was “dating” Elon Musk (he follows him on Twitter only because of IT stuff). We both love watching movies and we always remember the great performers!

I find it quite unfair how this witness is attributing the failures of these movies mentioned almost entirely to Johnny’s personal problems. It’s quite frankly bizarre. Every actor has flops, and while perhaps the leading actors involved in said flops may be partially to blame, for whatever reason; one can just as easily attribute a film flopping to screenwriters or even production quality across the board. This witness statement is strange to me.
She also said pirates 6 isnt relevant cause its not been created yet. But aquaman 2 is fine to talk about despite that movie not being made either

Movie successes or failures are shared responsabilities. Also, you cannot expect to ride the wave of sequels for all of eternity. You can only milk the cash cow so much before it becomes too predictable. Look at movies with sequels: Rocky, Rambo, Die Hard, Star Wars, Star Trek, Resident Evil. Cookie cutter productions. There comes a moment in time for an actor to move on otherwise he/she becomes typecast. This witness was for the defense and you have to take it for what it was: Another opinion.

So to recap this “Hollywood expert” just said: Johnny Depp having a handshake agreement to be in POTC 6 for $22.5 MILLION can not be damages because “the film hasn’t been green lit”
Then proceeds to base ALL of Amber Heard’s $100 MILLION in damages on HOPES AND WISHFUL THINKING.
AND AMBER HEARD CAN ONLY DREAM OF BEING GAL GADOT. 🇮🇱

It was weird that this expert witness stated a small film AH started in was bringing her income she counted as part of monies lost by AH and one the same type of films that JD did was not counted as monies lost by JD in her analysis. AH started defaming JD long before this trial. It was when the audio tapes were released of her own abusive behavior and her admittance that she gets physical, her stating no one would believe him, and the obvious media attention re: her TRO. The fact she was willing to dismiss the TRO once there was a divorce settlement, speaks volumes to there being no legitimacy of the TRO and whatever injuries she claims she sustained. She hurt the, Me Too, movement. Her seducing, Jason Momoa from his wife and family has a great deal to do with the movie industry using it as their on-screen magnetism. It didn't matter to the movie companies/pess that this relationship caused damage to Jason Momoa’s family. These things are what caved her public opinion; her own actions over time. JD did not go to the public but to defend himself, that is way different from her claims from the beginning . Again: Audio Tapes, record of misleading the press and the, Me Too, movement.
This woman REFUSED to make a forecast as to the future earnings of Johnny but SHE HAD NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER forecasting that Amber would make about $3.6 trillion over the next ten years. A cheerleader where a witness should be has NO CREDIBILITY!!!

he was soooooooooo difficult to work with by the time of the op-ed that he still was able to land the role in the HP franchise, for which he got paid a normal amount for him (seeing he mostly earned about 15 mill a movie)... the movies that didn't perform just weren't that good... He supposedly still pocketed 16 mill for the 3rd Fantastic Beasts movie, even though he didn't get to star in it.... sheeeeeeeesh they're grasping "it performed less well, by about 250 million dollars", if the normal box office is about a billion than 250 mill is something totally different then when the box office is 500 million for example
Johnny’s life /career started to fall apart when AH entered his life. She stopped him from leaving how many times? Any normal person under the stress of that kind of relationship would effect every area of their life. When I was going through an abusive relationship I didn’t want to leave my bed, home, & I had 7 years sober and relapsed. I was told , in detail how my ex would destroy EVERY area of my life if I did anything ever again. From coming to where I lived, work, etc and making it so bad for other people I worked for or lived with they would have to distance themselves from me. So basically I’d be jobless, & homeless. Without a doubt God literally blessed me with 1million dollars and the rest is history. This was a miracle & 1 of 3. In my experience the only way Johnny pulls himself out of his mess Is having a psychic change/spiritual experience.

Johnny's career flopped when Amber did her allegations. Of course Johnny made movies even after the false allegations but he didn't made big movies, he made a movie called Minamata that was based on true story but it wasn't a blockbuster. I guess that The Fantastic Beasts was already filmed and J.K. Rowling and the Warner bros didn't want to risk and film the movie again without Johnny. I mean JD made these movies famous, he did the pirates so famous because he was in it and yet Fantastic Beasts because this year's movie with Mads was a flop and nobody cared.

Another big one could have been at ~7:50 where she starts telling what films were and weren't successful. Only industry executives directly tied to the films can speak on that. Especially for a franchise.

likely it points towards ambers teams lack of professional knowledge as they’ve likely told all their witnesses and experts to look at the jury. Many trial lawyers have commented that looking at the jury too much is intimidating for a jury.
