  • Join young farmer Will Dawson as he meets with other commoners and their dogs to gather the sheep off Ingleborough Common. The commoners work together to cover different areas of the fell, coming from the Clapham side and the Cold Cotes side, and bring them all down to the lower fields, and from there into the yard for sorting. It’s a race against the weather, as the sheep need to be kept dry, ready for shearing (which you can see in Film 7).

    This is a wonderful format for a diary! I may start a similar diary - albeit, one that pertains to very much different subject matter. Or, perhaps, not so different… 🤔
