    Texas State Parks
    Lost Maples State Natural Area is a large, pristine area of beautiful hills and canyons on the upper Sabinal River in the Edwards Plateau Region of Texas. It is designated a Natural Area, rather than a State Park, which means the primary focus is the maintenance and protection of the property's natural state.

I also went down by the river and there was lot of people fishing, walking, having a picnic, etc. I was surprised to see so many people on a Wednesday morning. I guess it's really popular and it's not hard to see why.

    I've been watching a lot of videos on the big screen lately, and not getting comments put in, my bad. I was just asking Tania, which was your favorite camping trip this year? She said, "Lost Maples." We enjoyed that park a lot more than all the "hot spots."

    • @TexasFamilyCamping
      @TexasFamilyCamping 3 роки тому +1

    This is the video with the EF-S 24mm lens? I do like those close-ups you took. :) For hand-held establishing footage when you need wide angle, you might want to experiment with the 15-45mm kit lens plus optical stabilization and the "auto leveling" feature (auto leveling doesn't work with digital IS so the lens needs optical IS to get the most stable look). The Crowley Crew channel has a good overview on it: ua-cam.com/video/v3sJZHJX5XA/v-deo.html

    • @MrSTravelQuest
      @MrSTravelQuest  3 роки тому +1

      Yes I used the EF-S 24mm lens. I just purchased the EF-S 10-18mm lens for wide angle shots. I use a gimbal with the IS off and love the lens. Yes I follow The Crowley Crew channel as well, you know the M50 boys stick together :-)
