I've had both powershuttle and hydrostat. Hydrostat wins hands down for me. No comparison in Agility and speed of maneuvering.

Am looking for a good cab tractor for mowing. I like the Mahindra and RK tractors based on cost. I had to take a nitro pill after my Deere dealer gave me his quote for a 37 hp tractor. I have always like shuttle shift since our Deere crawlers on the farm had them, and they were 1960s vintage machines. However, after seeing your video and how Mahindra requires you to use the clutch to switch directions I think I'll revisit the RK tractors again. All the directional reverser (shuttle shift) tractors I've used didn't require the clutch at all.

My bigger tractor 60 hp and above there is no clutching that is called the power shuttle shift and I have several of those in stock. Please give me a call if you’re still interested 832-960 9806.

I have heard it is not good to brush hog with a hst. Tractor 🚜 enjoy your videos I own mahindra 2810 it has 1300 hours I plan to upgrade in the in the next year or two keep up the great work

Why don’t you do a video on the new 3640, you can do one alone and one comparing it to the older version 3540 and show the differences between the tractors.

Henry, what is the cost difference and which is more reliable? I am getting ready to buy the 1635 cab model and quoted a HST. Mostly like to k kw which is more reliable.

Hydrostatic = modern day luxurious automatic. Shuttle shift = 1980's left leg muscle car workout.

Does shuttle outlast hydrostat? I heard hydrostat needs rebuilt at 3k hours.

I am not sure about that being rebuilt every 3000 hours but I have a lot of customers that never reach that many hours I do know that it takes more hydraulic fluid and it takes a little bit of horsepower away from the tractor itself shuttle shift you’ll just have to worry about the clutching issues if not doing it properly let me know if there’s anything else that I can try to get you answers on thank you
