Jadeite seems alive. I own a couple of natural untreated jadeite bangles, and each time I wear one it seems to come alive and appear more vibrant the longer I wear it. I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but jadeite is like a living material.
Hi Dash, you are absolutely correct, its not your imagination, jade will change colour to be more deeper and more beautiful the more you wear it, because the warmth from your body will assimilate with the jade. Thank you for you video. I have a “moss on snow” jadeite bangle with about half of it a translucent apple green then dotted with the same green on whitish ice, it has 3 very small interspaced brown/amber dots on it. It was given to me, I have no idea if “moss on snow” is valuable or if the 3 dots ( hardly noticeable unless you look closely) take away from its value? I live in country Australia 🇦🇺 not close to anyone who knows about Jade/ Jadeite.
