Those were plastic barriers, not metal. His bodywork is just a skin over the roll cage, so it damaged it pretty easy. Looked like he just braked/turned in too late. Should be an easy fix. I think he was probably going 20 mph at the crash and he has full rollcage and helmet.

That she was doing that between 14 and 16 years old, before just getting her road drivers licence before xmas is pretty incredible. (Sidenote it's 1400hp)

Talking out of your hat. His car control is up there with the best, he’s got an incredible amount of spatial awareness and a feel for what his cars will and won’t do. Race drivers are many and varied. Rally, F1, NASCAR, drag racers, off-roaders, truck racers, rally cross, legends, hill climbers, road race specialists, and on and on. The vast majority of them can’t do what Block does, sliding is slow, drifting is slow, maintaining grip is king in most of the racing world, the stuff that Block does isn’t racing it’s the demonstrating. Ken Block was and is a an ok rally driver but that’s not really the point. His real skill lies in short track, close work doing stunts and showing people what cars are capable of. Ask ‘the best race drivers’ to do what he does and they’d say no thanks. If you knew motorsport then you’d know that Block knows his limitations as a race driver he’s never professed to be the next Loeb or Hamilton, he’s the driver for a well honed car modification company who advertise their wares via his videos, you’ll be hard pressed to find a driver who can do what he does in so many different vehicles. Just a famous guy because...... he can do it and you can’t.

Yes, they use multiple cams at different angles. Still, the OP is right, it takes him a lot of tries to get it right. You can see tire marks already there in his videos from "Most likely" practice runs and multiple takes.
It's nothing to do with Ken being a terrible driver, he isn't. guarantee that car is extremely difficult to drive, it has to be very unpredictable given the amount of torque and very little grip, especially when you could have all 4 wheels spinning about. I'm sure Ken could easily out drive most people on here, including you and me.

Me and my mates drove for 4 hours to go and see Ken Block's run at this show. We waited around for hours for him to enter the arena too. He eventually comes on and this is what we get 😂 he never came back out later for the thousands of people that came to see him by the way. That was literally it for the day. We were so annoyed as there was other Hoonigan cars there. But never mind it was a day out never the less. RIP Ken

Yes, they use multiple cams at different angles. Still, the OP is right, it takes him a lot of tries to get it right. You can see tire marks already there in his videos from "Most likely" practice runs and multiple takes.

It's nothing to do with Ken being a terrible driver, he isn't. guarantee that car is extremely difficult to drive, it has to be very unpredictable given the amount of torque and very little grip, especially when you could have all 4 wheels spinning about. I'm sure Ken could easily out drive most people on here, including you and me.
