Even Steve knows lmao "One day I'll hear David tell a happy story... Even eating a taco he's angry".
He even impersonated him in another video, might have been the stephen hawking one, he said (as David) "yo i just saw this guy get beat up the other day" (something along those lines)
makes sense why Joe has a 24/7 concert playing in his head. he grew up in a very musical family. his entire childhood/upbringing was full of musical instruments
kitty k yeah his dad is a piano teacher so I can see why he likes playing with different instruments
waiting for the Rich Brian collab
Joemalia by joejo ft rich brian and uncle sam
Lmao nahh only like 2-3 songs will be fire.
Música cristiana
Em Rose im 16 and it was trash
w/ joji
Steve: why is everyone mad at me.😭
Trivia team:😤 because I’m still standing is not from ghost face killer!!!
Lil Taik, Jo Joe, Young So, BartGod
A Rex Yung Fabart
Big Steve X
I agree with bart. That new migos album was absolute trash.
And im 20.
I listen to the Migos a lot and Culture 2 was trash. They put out 24 tracks with only 4 decent ones.
dance with my dogs in the night time
Damn havent heard it, cheers 97' babies lol
Migos are pretty trash in general. They have some songs with nice sounding flow but don’t think about them any deeper than the beat cause you’ll ruin it for yourself. They good trash but they still trash
Yh it was trash fr
They should get Rich Brian on the show!
I don’t know what David is talking about! I saw SZA live twice and she slayed both her performances 💗💗💗
I wish teenagers stopped acting like listening to music from before their time makes them special
Moonlightrouge ur spitting facts
I feel like they are all ashamed of the music right now so they pretend they like good music
I’m 20 and I agree. 😂😂😂
In my personal opinion you can only hear so much music before you start hearing repeating themes and subjects matters which then starts making new stuff sound stale. Music also sounds so over processed and just plain messy now like I turn the radio to station 100 or some shit and wonder "who the fuck is this Decepticon singing on the mic?" I can still find new stuff that I like but I really gotta look for it these days.
Yea, In my opinion the best stuff is the stuff no one seems to talk about.
Yeah or if you're lucky you'll hear a good song played maybe once while on a long drive at like 3 in the morning by coincidence and then you never hear it again.
Turn away from mainstream popular music and go back in time.
Richard Compton Lmao, glad I made you laugh.
I got all deez hoes and bxtchez and moneh and wut u go threw aint my prohblem. U wish yall could rap like me *kid yelling* yeh im amazing *kid yelling*
I like any genre of songs from any era. Old, new, as long as it's good. I'm just an all around music lover. However, I do agree some artists/music are lackluster these days.
80’s music ftw ✌🏻
My taste in music changed as I get older. When I was younger, I was into Classic Rock, then to Hip-Hop, R&B, to Metal, to Heavy Metal (uni years), to Pop, to Blues, to Soul, to Country and finally back to Classic Rock.
I love ADTR, Paramore, Tonight Alive, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sum 41, Panic at the Disco, Blessthefall, Linkin Park New Found Glory. This was middle school through high school. From 11-14, I always heard a bunch of pop punk, rock, alternative music anywhere I go.
Well, that explains why I like so much Goth and Post Punk music. That's what I was listening to in High School (Class of '85).
But, back in my day (When did I get old?), I only knew it as "New Wave". It took years before I even knew what Goth was. We didn't have any Goths where I grew up.
I do listen to a lot of different styles of music, though.
Except Country.
I tried Country once, but I couldn't figure out what country it was from.
Seriously, not a day goes by without some Goth tunes to make my life a bit more awesome.
Person: What kind of music do you listen to??
Me: Everything
Person: Okay. But what kind...
Me: *I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING!!*
same
Except dubstep and country
That’s what I thought, until someone asked me if I listened to Mexican music
I'm really happy that during 11 - 14, I explored many genres, which I still do.
Lord have mercy!! I'm so old that none of the group mentioned the artists I love, being (in no particular order): The Allman Brothers Band, The Beatles, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Simon & Garfunkle, Judy Collins, Bette Midler, Santana (early years), heck even Dion & the Belmonts (... you know the one that wrote/sang Abraham, Martin & John).
Heck as I got older, I even began to appreciate Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
Keep up the great videos.
I'm only 20 and my favourite artists are Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana and Bob Marley. I think it's what you grew up with as a kid/teen
I'm 18 and only started listening to music when I was 16. So I guess I missed my emotional connection to music, hence my attachment to soul and rnb
Doobly Wooblly what the fuck did you dance to lmao
Disturbed has always been my favorite band since I was in middle school till now I'm 25 and they're still my favorite.
Cus it just gets shittier. Quote from the most popular song of the decade “Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang”
P West GUCCI GANG! 😒
P West 2 words is like 99% of the song
Dont forget A Milli
P West music like that has existed forever
this is essentially relating the worst to the best. People didn't fuck with that song because of the lyrics, they fucked with the production. Compare Gucci Gang with an older song like that and we are talking a different story.
Hold the phone. Since i was able to comprehend what music was, i always hated what people would consider "good music" and rarely listened to music in general. It's only been recently (talking about 6 years in my 20 year old life) have i embraced music, but i like the underrated and obscure types. I'm finding music from every genre both old and new that i'm fond of.
I don't know why but I'm an 11 year old girl and I fricking love 90's rock
13-16 for me was during the early 1980s. Michael Jackson,Madonna,Bruce Springsteen,Bon Jovi,Motley Crue and so on. I still turn the volume up to 11 when Rock You Like Hurricane by Scorpions comes on the radio. \m/
"Any little thing that happens in your life you make it an emotional connection to the songs"You are Indeed Correct.
The conversations they have take many turn.
welcome to jknews
I like music I heard in my early childhood and toddlerhood lol 90's music , wasn't even a 90's kid for real.
now that I'm an adult I still like those same song I did back then but also I got more and more into classical music...
Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash fan here and I am 26. My parent weren’t born when Bob Dylan was famous. I am attracted to music that is meaningful, especially ones that stand the test of time. Shelter from the storm
Is this an older vid? Tiff's hair is still long in this one :o BUT DAT DOESNT MATTER I STILL LOVE THIS VID AND EVERY OTHER JK VID
Yep they got vids for days
I like her hair this way. Seems closer to her natural color and it looks good on her.
Nope it’s from the future
Nicole Kim Have you not been a fan for long? They got videos for days like Brian said.
thank you for those who responded like mature human beings :)
When I listen to the music I listened to when I was 14 all I can think of is “holy shit I was emo”
Not that I don’t worship 21 Century Breakdown anymore. That is a great album
Being a young kid from around St.Louis Nelly was the shit. When Country Grammar came out and I started hearing him rap about stuff that was familiar to me I bumped that till my parents yelled at me to turn it off.
you become accustomed to the compositional elements and musical elements etc of the music of your youth, you arent attached to the song. its songs from that era or genre that shares similar elements, which is why it’s possible for you to like songs years down the road bc it might share similarities in composition
Its true, im old now and i find myself researching and listening to older classics before i was born than finding the new stuff or keeping up
Yall seriously proving this study so well
Back then I just couldn't like heavy metal music, and listen to pop and rock. But now i really love heavy metal. And songs that i heard back then that I didnt like, I like them now
Am so glad I refreshed my feed...
Yo! That’s true! I used to listen to the “new music” in 2000-2010 and its all like T-pain, Chris brow, Akon, Eminem, but I was also surrounded by jazz, funk, hip hop, soul, African sound, classical.. (also because I used to go to my neighbors houses and play Digimon and yugiho cards and collect bottles to buy chips at save on). Back then I’d download new songs on my iPod or MP3 player from lime wire and BE SO HYPED. Now that I’m an old hag in my 20s life changed and so did the music.
Joe and Bart have GREAT taste in music 👌👌
Interestingly, the propensity of people to listen to the music of their youth even applies to metal fans. I thought that metal fans were different, but not so. Most metal fans my age still listen to the metal that they loved as teenagers; they call the new metal bands "crap," and "not real metal." This mental illness doesn't apply to me. Throughout my life I have changed my preferred music. I mainly listen to metal, but the metal bands I listen to now are not the bands I listened to as a teenager; it's the newer metal. BTW, awesome video!
Charles That's probably because the sound of music changes pretty much every decade, I'm a huge hip hop head and I love R&B (I fuck with some rock and J rock) and that's something I notice. People probably just can't get used to the change because they listened to old style so much.
I'm glad. I feel like I'm the only one I know who isn't all like "everything is crap unless it is old" and "rock is dead" I don't just listen to metal, but I do like metal bands. My playlists have stuff from like the 80's to current and I love them all. I actually like that I can take music from a band that's been around for awhile and hear exactly how the songs change over the decades.
If people think music is declining they should obviously stray away from the mainstream music. Thered so much good underrated music.
one time I went to panda express and a song started playing, two workers started to dance in the back. they looked like they were having fun and it made me smile. I just wanted to start dancing because they look like they were having a lot of fun.
Yea thats true. Back then i wouldnt like the main stream songs. But when i hear em now im like ayy this shits from my time, hell yea
*Should've asked Geo to name 3 songs from the Rich Brian album.*
I believe music is a reflection of the times we’re in and trap/mumble rap gives ppl the dopamine hit they’re searching for. Each beat is like a line of coke with the hi hats, bass drums and overly blown out 808’s. I believe more people are tryna find ways to distract themselves from depression and anxiety so they want music for an escape not a reflection of themselves like how “good art” is. And again it doesn’t make it better or worse, it’s just a reflection of the mindset of the masses. We’d rather be numb than face our pain
Music reminds me of the past and gives me nostalgia. Which is something that new age music can't do
Whaaaaa? This is my opinion, but I went to a SZA concert and she was pretty good.
back in the day when i was young im not a kid anymore
but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again
🎶 🎶
If I liked the music from when I was 11 I would still be listening to pop music and boy bands. Now I listen to metal and some of 80s and 90s rock
I think it's just different type of people. I'm 21, and I feel just ad emotionally connected to some of the newer songs I hear now as I did to songs I heard from 11 to 14. And I like any song that brings a nostalgic feeling, no matter what time of my life it was from. Also, obviously this study doesn't take into account all the kpop fans in their 20s that scream like 13 year olds. XD
i literally listen to anything - i love frank sinatra to childish Gambino to migos to giggs i love a bit of everything but some of the newer music i like the beats but the lyrics are pure trash
CHICHI Yessssss production these days is on another level so ppl gotta give credit to at least that. Even tho the lyrics are trash lol
Yess
spot on chi chi spot on
The lyrics are underground buddy... The reason why these mainstream artists are in the game are because of fans or random people who are give the "artist" numbers then big record labels give these fuckers a deal because of the numbers then they stay relevant for awhile and then next victim is next... If I was an artist I'd say FUCK A LABEL and FUCK THE INDUSTRY a lot of talented artists don't get the light they deserve... SMH
u man hold lyrics to such a high regard
I'm 21. Not big on music in the first place, but some of the newer stuff kills my brain cells. Or makes me wonder if I lost so many that I can no longer comprehend how great it is.
I NEED TO FOLLOW DAVID’S SPOTIFY OMG
When David said emotional rap he was talking about xxxtentacion 😂😂😂
By the way Danielle Ravolliis not consider an rapper, we don't claim her
Trueeeee there are so many artist now that can't sing but are using auto tune instead
Rock ALL THE WAY!
David Bowie
The Beatle
The Animals
Queen
Billy Joel
The Beach Boys
I just love the sound of Instruments, with that nice strong back beat and rhythm of the drums, or even with an orchestra walking in with Violin and ending it with Trumpets.
Ok my dad is always playing That classic rock and I’ve always hated new music today. Dead ass classic rock is the way to go.
I understand this. Makes sense. The music I go towards the most is what my dad played all the time and Tech N9ne lol
Nostalgia kind of forms your music taste. So if it is similar to songs you listened to when you were younger you will end up liking it.
Bad Bunny is my go to artist! I love a little bit of everything 50’s to the 00’s from rap to metal and country 😍
Davids fav song he was talking about. Scatman John - Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop)
YO! I was literally talking about this the other day💀💀
I didn't get into music until after high school for me Kid Cudi and Residente Calle 13 all day for me.
"I heard that song recently at a taco shop" "I went there at that time probably 3 times a week" 🤔 What is it David? 😂
When I was 13-16, that was all Gen X music on the radio and I'd say my musical tastes today are pretty different than back then.
Also, Steve likes Adele. 😄 I mean, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised since she's mainstream and popular but for someone who talks a lot about trolling and internet conspiracies and shit, that's kind of surprising. 😄
I'm Samoan and I love Regina Spektor lol Samson is one of my all-time favourite songs.
Metalhead 4 life!!! \m/
F*ck yeah Joe! "Am a Scatman" is dope 😂😂😂
More Steve!!!!
FCPROLLS no thanks
My music taste hasn't changed from when I was a kid, more things have added on but it all includes real instruments with a human feel, a lot of new music is so quantized and processed there's nothing interesting that will surprise you like a missed beat or slightly off pitch note
I think it has to do with the fact that the internet makes it much easier to get fame and make it in the music industry. There are still good songs and bands, you just have to find them.
Some bands from the past still make good music to this day because they have actual talent. Take a listen to FIREPOWER by Judas Priest. The album came out a few weeks ago but is still great, and part of that is because the band behind the music is talented. They had to be talented to make it back then. Now it's easier.
I don't take issue with it being easier to get success in the music industry, but I just want this to be a reminder that good stuff is out there, and that you just have to find it.
I love Joe and Steve! ☺️
Ayy Rich Brian
Seattle grunge and Wu-Tang are still in my favorites list. True.
Joe - the Abed
David - the Shirley
Bart - the Troy
Tiff - the Anna
Geo - the Britta
Steve - the Jeff
;)
I loved Napster & Limewire!!!!
The thing is a lot of people won't look for modern music that they would enjoy. There's a lot of music out there it's not hard.
Interesting research. Explains why I prefer old school hip hop/r&b. I just can't get into the mumble rap, lol
I LOVE the new Migos album. I listen to it almost every day
Been listening to bachata since I was in the womb
Maria Contreras I’m listening to Cumbia when I am in my soul can dance.
I love 50 cent 21 questions and JaRule Mesmerize and I know Bart and joe do for sure
I fucking love the music they play in the background
Any songs after 2010 takes time for me to like it.
Damn David, you went hard on sza tho 😂😂😂
LOLOL Bart just slapped Culture 2 in the face
SZA IS QUEEN. saw her live in Sydney and she was fucking amazing, you gotta clean your ears David
The Chronic Album = 🐐🐐🐐🐐
These are still so funny 🤣
I love new uploads. it's like a candy. sometimes I save them. for long dmv waits.
I love Joe. So whimsical and fun

But Bart what's in my head is like a live performance of every song I like by any artist
90s trance
Soniqe - feels so good 🙌🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥
David’s opinions on Sza are exactly how I feel about Jason DeRulo.
My music taste is all over the place. I’ll be listening to Sza and end up at Rammstein.
Me af
When it comes to music in english I usually listen to alt bands and different intensities of rock. But then I also love kpop, except I'm super picky about which songs I like, and I know spanish, but for some reason I'm obsessed with latin pop. But then Ecuadorian rock sounds amazing too tho. And then there's just artist I just like that are completely different, like I adore owl city lol
The only music I listen to is JKNews' background music and outro music 🔥🔥🔥
Me & my bf were just talking about this why we like what millennials listened to when were early years of generation X compared to other people our age they're listening to lil Uzi 6ix 9ine ect.
Well Bart, you probably didnt like it because it the Migos...
After this I gotta watch some Brian Manuel music^^ it’s been a while.
My Brain is always remixing music.
