🎬 Yes; you read the title correctly, Largs is home (in my heart at least). My dad grew up here and my beloved grandfather is buried here. This place is full of great memories, in my opinion this the best place on earth. Largs is famous for many reasons, from the Battle of Largs, Pencil monument and viking connections to the Gogo burn, Marina and the ferry across to Cumbrae. Largs is a tourist town and the population does rapidly increase with day trippers from Glasgow, a visit to Nardini's World Famous Ice Cream Cafe is synonymous with a trip "doon the water"🌍

Largs is well laid out with shops and long promenade only a few minutes walk and ferries to Cumbrae with Waverley paddle steamer in Summer. Prestwick has also these features but slightly farther back from Prom. Oban also great for same attractions but lots of ferries to islands.
All are great places, visited all these you have named. Largs is special for me due to family connections so will always be great in my eyes. I also agree about Oban, fab place.
Am I missing something here , I know largs fairly well, Ayr, Irvine, saltcoats , firstly i am Scottish living elsewhere , on my recent visit ro see friends , i can only assume this video was made years ago, all these towns above are rundown and quite frankly dumps and thats being kind
No fairly recent, my Dad is from Largs and I think itbis the best. Folk assume the grass is aways greener, it is not. Largs has a lot to offer, I love it. Cant really speak for other towns .

There is now a new large school that overshadows the town. Sign of the times. The old site is being redeveloped for housing. I am in agreement that Largs is a great place.

Ahh yes, another lovely place. Visited with family on numerous occasions, would like to spend more time there.
