I really like this series. I’m a total novice to this hobby. I am looking at the Reefer 425 and going the complete Red Sea method. I’m going to be completely starting from fresh so this series is really helpful knowing what nutrients are correct and my tank is doing well and thriving.
I have some hard to feed fish so I wantto add copepods and sustain them. I dont have a refugium. I have a little bit of rock but not much and lots of bioballs in sump. so I can grow them in there? How do I get them from sump to display or do they just come out of the return? I also have filter socks though so can they get sucked in from overflow and trapped in socks?? Please answer.
Cool ! Tisbie pods were a go to pod for awhile , then that mixed patch 5150 or something . Now these apex pods . Some variables I know we're , water temp , free swimming, why these apex pods over the past favs . Think they breed enough in the sump so culturing won't be necessary? Do they stick to the glass & look unsighty . Swim around alot ? Thanks ! 😊 Looking forward.
I will say that i have purchased several brands of copepods and reef nutrition seems to be the ones that obviously provides more copepods per bottle. Too bad i can only get two varieties. How come? Are they working on more varieties?
This whole series is a biased series for Red Sea. I'm not complaining about it, its been a great series. But when you have products like Reef Nutrition, there's no need to fear bias.
I would definitely watch more videos about Reef Nutrition products.
