- It's been over a year since I've played a full band live show, and this one turned out perfectly. On July 10th, we played Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake Minnesota, to over 12,000 people. It feels good to be back.

Rhett that solo at 13:05 was killer, great slow start and anticipation. That octavia at 14:00 was killer as well
hell yeahs, I can't find this song is this the bands? that solo was so tasteful and rhetts touch and mojo is top notch here.. Forget the gear.. yeah that octave was great, reminds me of the beetronics pedal..

@@RhettShull would have guessed octahive.. most reviewers have the sustain setting turned way up on the vespa.. fooled me into thinking it always sounds gated. The vespa is definitely a close sibling to octahive. The way they both do octave sounds is super unique from what I've come across so far.
Noah is definitely one of those singers who sound nice on record and on top of that raises to totally different level in live environment. Nice gig and congrats!
Noah's dad always strikes me as a really incredible human being.

I'm really loving seeing him progress as a performer, watching the videos where he's doing it for the first time and now he seems to be getting used to it...it really is fantastic...
Right? More backing / harmony vocals would make their sound ENORMOUS. Keep it up, Rhett- what little you're doing on vocals already fills out the sound in a big way. If it became a feature of the sound, you guys would be UNSTOPPABLE. This isn't the best analogy (different style of music), but try to imagine Bon Jovi in their heyday WITHOUT Richie Sambora's backing vocals: IT SIMPLY WOULD NOT HAPPEN. You've got the guitar thing nailed- elevate your craft by upping your game on the vocals a little. The results could be life-changing. Cheers!
@@jaygilbert4546 You beat me to it. Rhett still appears a bit “shy” (for lack of a better word) on vocals. I think he has the vocal chops, he just needs to up his game to where we all believe he can take it. We’re cheerleaders, not critics.

I'm just gonna say it: Noah Guthrie & Good Trouble is by and far one of the best up and coming live Country/Americana acts right now when it comes to how they execute musically. Noah is an incredibly talented artist but it is rest of the band for me that just takes it over the top.

that moment at 11:14 put tears in my eyes. i know exactly what it feels like to be hitting on all cylinders as a band while the singer is wailing. been there. the look on rhett's face says it all.
That was my favorite part of the video! I love that feeling when I’m playing live and I could feel it even through that moment in the video!
No kidding...that build was phenomenal. Great moments throughout but that one really stood out for me.
Those harmonies on “Midnight Special” were the real deal, homes. I don't know how them people reacted, but I woulda been hootin' and hollerin'. What a great set.

Rhett, I was at this show! Didn’t know you guts were playing - a very pleasant surprise. I would really encourage you guys to work the audience a bit more. With Lady A not playing we all wanted you guys to be the headliners. Hope you get up here again real soon.
Yeah Rhett..!!! The one band I was in the lead singer mentioned the name of our band at LEAST 3 times between songs… We had a really large following for a local band… We were good.. but I think that really helped..
I love the part at 6:51 when Mr Guthrie Snr can be seen smiling as he proudly watches his boys soundcheck. What a top dad supporting his boys and their dreams!

Agree. Next to Government Mule, probably the next best cover I've heard. Love Noah's slim down version of the Song that really showcases his amazing voice. Add a keyboardist and the band is more complete, and would allow Rhett to insert mandolin, banjo and other string instruments.👍🤠🎸🎼🎵🎶

I am in COVID lockdown in Melbourne Australia for the 5th time in two years! Its raining cats and dogs and cold but its good to see Rhett back on the road, that, that bought a smile to my face.
