- Could this be done better? Most definitely, in all fairness I rushed this out. For now however I think it blends fine; the two tracks don't go together nearly as well as the ones found in Deep Stone Crypt.

I know it was 2 seasons ago but I already feel nostalgia about Seraph. That final cutscene ❤
It was a banger of a season. Mostly because of Rasputin for me, because I love this characted, but it had a very nice feel overall
Also my favourite dungeon is from that season, so that's a plus point too
Before everything went to shit…simpler times
this season was hands down one of my favorite seasons since the launch of Beyond Light. It was SO good. And this mix? The darker version of Athanasia then mixed with that amazing Rasputin+Security Breach remix? BANGER. SUCH A BANGER.

I really really miss this season. There was so much energy in the air when playing. People were really hopeful for a good story and a decent one got delivered. There was good weapons, good loot, cool looking armor a robot dog you can pet(though albeit it was a pain to get) and people were excited about lightfall. Witch Queen was probably my favorite expansion with Forsaken right behind it.
It just stays baffling that seasonal content tied to an expansion all just disappears once a new expansion releases. There's so much context and content lost because of that.
I am honored to have started Destiny during this season. There was so much energy and tension at that point in the story. Now a few seasons later I am kicking myself for not getting the season pass despite the armor sets and especially weapons being my favorites. Everything Exo/Braytech/Warmind/Hakke themed has become my favorite aesthetic.
That feeling right after the finale in the week before light fall was so incredible just for the atmosphere. It felt like the entire universe was still, with this kind of dreadful anticipation behind it. It was like we were getting prepared to go off to war, knowing damn well nothing we did could truly prepare us.
Agreed. It was such a good season. The anticipation of what was coming next was so great. It was such a feeling of anxious fear. It was palpable in the game! Then Lightfall honestly fell pretty flat (at least for me). But at least they brought Seraph Shield into the Exotic Rotator playlist. Small comfort I guess...

No they didn’t; first credits belong to Skye Lewin for both soundtracks who still works on destiny and made a majority of the music for lightfall
Operation Seraph Shield is one of my most favourite exotic missions to come out, up there with Whisper and Zero Hour, plus the new Node Overload mission
sots will forever be one of my top favorites. it was PERFECT. great build up, great visuals, fun activities, good characters, good plot, fun secrets and amazing dialogue. overall, I love sots. I will never forget it.
Dude... alright... I'm gonna say it... Season of the Seraph is the best season we've had in Destiny 2 for a long time... narrative wise, content wise, in every way... I'm sorry but Defiance, Deep and even Season of the Witch don't match up whatsoever. God I miss Seraph a lot.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think wish has been pretty good, but it sucks that it’s going to get boring after being stretched out for so long since TFS got delayed. Despite the rest of the season going to be just filler activities for the most part, I think the season itself held up very well overall, but I still think Seraph beat it by a good amount. Something about seraph just felt so so good! In my opinion, I think it was becuase it was the first season in a while that actually felt like Destiny…

As a fan of the BL soundtrack this is truly a masterpiece, and another reason why the BL soundtrack is the best destiny has ever made
Yeah Beyond Lights soundtrack is like amazing most of those songs are in my top tiers

Season of the Seraph is one of Destiny's best seasons. The final mission and the emotion between Ana and Rasputin... my heart sank watching that cutscene. I still cry hearing this OST. Elegant and brilliant! 🥲

@@jsinghgjsinghg5322 nothing too too much, but it's seemingly connected to Savathun, since it's been confirmed that we need to bring her back. We just also know that an exotic mission rotator is coming in Season 22, which will rotate between a handful of the exotic missions that Destiny has had throughout its lifetime (like Presage, Vox Obscura, Seraph Station, and perhaps Avalon will be added, I'm not sure).

Only started in Season of the Lost (banger even if WQ was delayed), but I'll be damned if Seraph wasn't the best season I've played.

if clovis doesn't design rasputin to destroy traveller maybe we can see it in lightfall opening scene where there is rasputin with guardian vs calus enemy and witness
I must admit, I am a bit sad at how much they changed Athanasia in this, as it is my favorite standalone soundtrack in the game. I understand they had to make it fit Seraph and didn't want it to be the exact same, but it was so subtle I actually didn't notice Athanasia was back for a period. That being said, they nailed Nuclear Descent protocol, and security breach was amazing. They kept the style while also incorporating seraph. And that being said, nice blend

This is a great blend! This season was one of THE best seasons Destiny ever had 100%. I miss Rasputin so badly, I really hope he gets brought back as a Lightbearer to defy all laws of what we know so far (and because it would be really funny). Love hearing the little tidbits of the Warmind theme!
