I wonder if part of the challenge of getting the character of Vinny to Canada is by making it a *follower* or if he (Vinny/vinesauce) should try only *playing* as his character vinny to make it to Canada with vinny easier.
Lyson Toughec imma get vinny to Canada but his mix of traits and abilities aren't that good for the beginning. considering the beginning is mostly melee weapons rather than guns, I'd probably go with a mix that upgrades strength or fitness. with guns, you usually will pick up guns along the way and upgrading shooting isn't as important as having high strength and fitness
vinny you should always control your own character if you wanna get him to Canada lmao. the ai in this game is not that great when it's trying to follow you on a specific path through a horde. one of my teammates couldn't make it around a single zombie and died. or you could try leaving your character only for sieges, loot with another character
Even with double the Vinny the odds are against him making it to Canada sadly. and the deaths always seem to feel so BS as if the developers themselves specifically coded in the game to work against Vinny
another tip vinny, try making your character to gun collector + calm under fire, that will give you a bunch of shooting skill and guns as well. Oblivious only helps in a handful of cases and should be used for a support character. or you could try megabuff + warrior, which I personally play all the time. either way, the more you train your characters, the more stats you can gain starting off (notice that your character now starts with a rifle and a pistol? that's cuz you upgraded shooting enough times). finally, always keep a hatchet (sledgehammer is best if you got the strength + fitness), pistol (uzi is best), and shotgun (autoshotgun is best) on your main character. these are easy to find and save your ass every time. good luck on your next run.
