TLE5012 magnetic encoder replacing the omron encoder. Big FAIL!

As seen in the video, when I spin the rotor fast with my hand, it loses its position severely. However if I spin very very slowly, it somehow retails postion but not as accurate still.
I am told there is a delay.
Plus this is supposed to be a 15bit encoder. I am only able to take 14bit out of it in abi encoder mode on vesc which is only 16,384 resolution. Not 32,768 resolution.
Very disappointed with this product. DO NOT BUY THIS for your vesc.

@@esmokebaby If you just compute for essentials, I'd say I'm in about 300usd. But with added cost of experimenting, it's a bit more than that. Still a good route for me as the DD is like atleast 400usd used. Plus everytime there's an update to anything, a diy dd can also be updated. Like say a new effect or higher torque/efficiency.
I was hoping this encoder would be good so I could shrink down my setup.
