I was looking on Amazon for a reusable K-Cup for my Keurig K-Mini Plus, but all the ones that claim they fit the Mini Plus model had just as many reviewers saying that they don't actually fit as ones that say they do. I couldn't decide on which one to try, but believe it or not, I was actually thinking about buying the one you recommend. Now after watching your video I'm going to go purchase the Perfect Pod Café with paper filters. Thank you again!
I've used Keirig coffee makers for many years now and as I am a 2-3 cup a day drinker, I find them very convenient, fast-producing, easy to clean & maintain, and it gives me exactly the amount I desire VS leaving an entire pot at the end of the day, half of which will end up down the sink. The only complaints I have with the materials have to do with the reusable k-cups, made so you can enjoy your favorite grounded blend of unavailable in a k-cup. The top "hinge" is made of plastic so over time and hundreds of uses, it will eventually come off even from normal use, so buy an extra so you don't have that last minute meltdown when you can't make your coffee! Lastly, the distance the outgoing coffee stream has to fall as it comes out of the machine until it hits a regular size drinking cup is Long, and I find that if I do not first brew it into a tall, travel-size mug, and then pour that into the cup I intend to drink from, it will splash all over the front of the machine, even walls or appliances it sits next to, so I find washing 2 cups to be easier than washing the entire machine and surrounding areas for each cup. PS: There seems to be a lack of consensus on whether or not these plastic k-cups with reusable paper filters work in the K-mini Plus. Well, I've just got a brand new one and we're about to see just how well it does or does not work. I liked the ones I've had before so I'm hoping this time will be no different! Cheers!

I just got the k mini plus and I bought cafe cup reusable pods. They come in a pack of 4 but I can't get the darn thing closed. It sits flush and looks just like yours, I don't understand why it doesn't seem to work. It says on the package that are compatible with all Keurigs except for vue and 2.0 models
I have found some work better than other. have you tried the perfect pod. amzn.to/30UGa2B Sometimes you have to push the lid down then use the handle to close it. but don't force it
I have the same problem, the cup sits flush but it seems like the top needle does not line up with the hole of the cup. You can get the needle to align after moving the cup around a little but does not feel right, and I see the tip of my needle is a little bent now.

Can you brew espresso grounds using the reusable filter? (Just bought a Mini, still in the box.) I'm hoping I can, because that's the only coffee I ever have at home. I really don't want to have to start buying multiple grounds. 😂😂
I also just bought the other universal filter (the black/gray) because I didn't watch this video first. Ughhhh. Should I buy this one instead? It looks like a better fit, straight-forward, rather than fussing with all the removing of parts with the other one.
if the coffee is ground too fine it will not let the water flow through the pod very good, so while you can use espresso coffee just grind it at a medium grind.
Hi I wonder if the color of your coffee maker is called cool aqua? I was thinking of purchasing it but it looks not as bright and pastel on here…thanks:)
This could be a known issue Keurig has with the lower needle basket. I would call Keurig customer care at 866-901-2739. They have great customer service. It sounds like your bottom needle basket needs to be replaced. These can become distorted over time from the heat or it might not have been made correctly. They can send you a new one. It's not that big of a part and it's easy to change.
@@JustADad so I actually purchased these over The weekend, (I mainly wanted the scoop) brewed some this morning and it seemed to work very well. Now I may grab some paper filters for that sediment. Seems to work well though.
Just some constructive criticism: Video could have been way shorter. Too much unnecessary dialogue and talking about things that weren't necessary to talk about. An example: we don't need to know how much water you personally use. Too bad this one doesn't help me anyway, as my reusable k-cup has a part in the bottom that sticks out, so the needle gets in the way. But thank you regardless.

Do you need the filter for the reusable kcup?
No you can use it without but you get a little sediment in your coffee.

It should, they are really close to being the same machine.

Yes, but not all reusable k cups are made the same so finding one that works can be a bit tricky.
