I will let you know what I think about this eyeshadow palette in today’s video! I also filmed two different looks so you can get an idea of what you are able to do with this palette. Urban Decay’s description of this palette says it comes with eight buildable, prismatic shimmers and four high-pigment mattes, all infused with genuine tourmaline for good energy and ultimate staying power. I don't know if I can really say it's a favorite because I only own the mini gold palette, so there's just one metallic, but it is stunning. It's Natasha Denona. I just love that gold shade.
I also really love my Jouer making magic ultra foil palette. I bought it when it was discontinued and I use it so often. I just blend a random shade in my crease and use one shimmers and I have a perfect look. (that pink shade!)
It’s so beautiful, but I wish 2020 could be the year that we all decide that $54 is too much for any eyeshadow palette.
Eyeshadow palette prices are definitely getting more and more expensive. 😭 That’s one of the reasons I love the smaller palette trend!
If you’re the patient type, I absolutely guarantee it’ll be at Nordstrom Rack in under a year for under $20. 😎
I did that years ago! I just can't spend that much on something I wash down the drain. Buy 2 of them & you have some pretty nice amounts of Jewelry findings & Swarovski Crystals & gemstones to create Jewelry that will last to be passed down a time or two. That's my reason.
I wish I’d reminded myself of that before I picked it up. I was having “a moment” at Ulta the day this one and the too faced Pumpkin spice palette came out. If you really love shimmers, indie brands blow these away! I ended up topping off my looks with Devinah candy cakes shadows bc I wanted a bit more oomph when I used this palette!
tecnoklaus I bought my last three Urban Decay palettes (Naked Heat, Reloaded, and Honey) at half price, some in under 6 months of their original release. I’m waiting for Ultraviolet to be the next! 😁
I got really excites when I heard that the shadows were shimmer and not pressed glitter. I actually ordered this and used my ulta points, so I am getting it for free, lol.
I totally thought they were pressed glitters when I saw the initial photos! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the shimmers!

I love this palette, but I just didn't think it was worth $54, I knew if I waited it just might go on sale, and it did!!!! I just got it last week for $27, and it is def a beautiful palette and those shimmers are everything!!!!!! ESPECIALLY for $27

I have a lot of palettes and I picked up this one and I absolutely love it!! The shimmers are definitely wet looking and unique like you said. $54 was a little steep, but even with my collection, this palette stands out and I keep reaching for it. Overall I am super happy to own this one. Good job Urban Decay!

Hey Andrea! You can disregard my request on reviewing the BECCA Pearl Glow palette.. lol. I found your video where you provide a review. Yes VERY pricey ! First time I spent this much on a Pallette! 😁. It totally spoke to me ! .. I absolutely Love it. The colors are blendable and very pigmented ! 😊
I was so excited to use this palette today. I bought the mini palette as well which is very complimentary to the larger palette. I’m stoked to use it more which is not something I always feel after a first impression. I’m pretty happy with this purchase. It adds something special to my collection.

I had a gift card and bought this as a b-day gift for myself, can't wait to try the looks out! so far other than the glitter fall out from the shades but love it so far, they are more metallic than glitter which I was expecting but very happy with it.

Great video, love how clear and concise you are and how well you show the shadows! I have to say, I was hoping the shadows would be more of an intense glitter, but they don't look worth the price for how shimmery they are. Shame since the packaging is so pretty. Really wish I could try colour pop stuff, but they're not sold in the UK ☹️

@@AndreaMatillano Absolutely, I hardly ever pay full price for eyeshadow palettes, but there are a few exceptions, not many though.
I loved the packaging and the beautiful colors. I thought I would treat myself ...forgetting I am 63 years old for a moment.I think I was having a "seventies" moment from my past. I was horrified when I saw what I had done. I returned without trying them (hang my head in shame, this is for the young and pretty) but I love the video and thanks for posting. A lot of fun to see. :-))

I pass on most new releases and then pick it up on sale later, if I'm still interested. The colors and packaging really spoke to me so I splurged this time. No regrets here. I was able to create easy, beautiful looks each time I've used it😍. Also, the shadows still look great after a long shift at work. 💕

I’m so glad to see your review! The colors really speak to me; i know I’m a rare bird in the comments from what I’ve seen 😂 I’ll likely try and hold out for a sale, coupon, etc. though it is one of the first UD palettes I’ve seen without Bismuth Oxychloride so I’m really tempted!

I picked this up a few days ago. I agree that it is pricey, but its my first non- essential makeup purchase since Covid started so I figure it was a nice treat. Looking forward to playing with shimmers more than I have previously. I love Tiger's Eye and Raw Energy!
I got this palette sent to me from Influenster and I’m really enjoying the palette and I’m glad I have it. I do agree the price is a little much but the packaging is stunning💛 bloodstone in Urban Decay (the green/brown) reminds me of the definer shade in the Wet n Wild comfort zone palette.
I bought it on a whim and actually realllly like it! I do agree fingers work the best though. The formula does not work the same with a brush. That being said- I do think I’ll get a lot of use out of it. I do easy transition shades in the crease and a shimmer on lid most days so this is perfect.

I want the mini! It’s cooler in tone. I like the lavender transition shade in it. I think these are beautiful!!! I’d buy this larger version if it’s on sale but the mini is calling to me more.

I initially thought $54 was a little outrageous, BUT if someone were to individually purchase eight SSS from ColourPop, it would be $48. That's without any mattes! Plus, you get this beautiful packaging. So I think this might be a great supplemental palette for someone in the market. It's not for me (I have a ton of SSS, in colors I'm more drawn to), but I get the appeal; especially if you don't already have an unwieldy collection (like me, heh).

It's pretty, but I am absolutely sold on Sydney Grace and Looxi Beauty for shimmers/metallics/multichromes. Clionadh is is also amazing, and their mattes are fantastic also. This eye look is gorgeous though, Andréa!! ❤️

Oooh I just made an Elf order including that Curl mascara and I already have the Essence lash primer, I am excited to use them together now! I finally ordered five of the blush/highlighter duos from Elf and a few more new things. There are so many promo codes out right now for Elf! I use Honey and Cently which are two apps that find promo codes for websites to lower your final price and they found 5 or 6 promo codes including MANNYMUA which takes $5 off a $30 order and a code for 20% off and ELF also allows you to stack codes, in addition to their 60% off sale they are having now!!!! I love Elf allows stacking codes, which I found that Colourpop does not allow.
I think it's wild how the shades in the pan don't translate on the eyes. Maybe it's me. The pans look stunning but when you put them on, you wouldn't b able to tell them apart from mini elf palette shimmer shadow.
Eyeshadow is my makeup weakness. I have a lot of it and am always on the lookout for more. Still, I'd rather spend that money on ammo.

Such a beautiful palette and we’re definitely paying for the packaging more so than the shadows. I usually buy all the Urban Decays, however will skip this one. It’s a bummer that the price is so high!

I am glad they are doing something other than a naked palette and the packaging is gorgeous 😍 but it doesn't really call to me for that price tag
This palette isn't my cup of tea but honestly its smart. Some people don't use more than a couple mattes and like to change up the shimmer shade. I think this could be an easy palette to hit pan on because you'd be building the same structure daily and adding different flare to it.

Thank you for reviewing this one and showing how the shadows apply. It looks interesting but too overpriced in my opinion, $54 is the price of UD naked pallets. I have Heat, Cherry, Smoke and the original but I prefer Too Faced eye shadows. I want to try Natasha Denona and I would rather add $10 and get the Sunrise pallette or Glam instead of this one.

I just ordered this online from Ulta. I had a 20% off 1 item coupon that i got in the mail. So it ended up being $43. Otherwise, i had planned to wait until it went on sale. It looks pretty though, especially the packaging. I can not wait to get this.
I used my Ulta points to get this cheaper. You were so right if it was in the 35-45 dollar price range it would be more pallet able.

The consistency of the glitter in the pictures scared me but the packaging is STUNNING. I don’t think I’ll be buying eyeshadow for at least a year with wearing masks and not much makeup

This looks a nice palette, but some of the shades remind me of the Moondust palette which I already have. I noticed there's a smaller version of the palette for 23€. I'm unsure whether to get that or the standard palette. It's around 36-42€ now but I do not need those colors right now. Maybe soon......if it is still on sale. Are they shimmers rather than glitter like the Moondust palette? I find Sephora Collection has good shimmers, too as do Revolution Beauty.
I just bought Urban Decay's Naked Honey palette as I was in need of more gold tones and also got the Moondust Party Favor palette for 16€. This Stoned Vibes palette is definitely on my list for when I want these colors and I need to check out Color Pop as I have heard so much about their brand but have nothing by them. Beautiful looks! I very nearly got that liner shade. It's beautiful too and on my list.

I have no doubt this palette will definitely go on sale for half off and then some primarily because ud has been on the same pattern of over priced to dirt cheap sale trend for some time. I feel like it’s a weird but a so far it’s working - boost your sale, reach your sale goal and earn profit- marketing tactic from the company.

This is a palette that I definitely do not need, and the color story doesn't really call to me, but I am still so drawn to it because of the packaging
