And we couldn't come to an agreement. We both liked each car. But she liked the Camry slightly better, and I leaned towards the Accord. Neither of us would budge lol. So we thought hey, you get the Camry, I'll get the Accord. Been about 7 months now, and we have both driven each others car of course, and both are great cars, and cant go wrong with either. But, she has come over to the Accord side. Still likes her Camry, but she says as far as overall experience, the Accord comes out ahead, slightly, in several areas. Driving feel, handling, comfort of drivers seat, and all the bells and whistles. Again, still likes her Camry, but if she could go back in time, woulda got the Accord Touring. They are so close in a lot of areas, but for both of us, the Accord wins out. Some say the Turbo on the Accord might down the road be an issue. All the research I did ahead of time, that with the 2.0 on the Accord, will be ok. And Scotty Kilmer just did a video on this exact topic, and backed that up. That a Turbo on a smaller engine, might be an issue, but on the 2.0, your ok. Both great cars, no wrong choice. And just depends what each is looking for in a vehicle.. The Accord Touring checks all the boxes for us
I was hell-bent on an XSE myself but ended up with the Hybrid Touring. I had an electronic issue where the Garmin GPS wouldn't update and they actually had to replace the whole head-unit. That's been my only issue so far. The Camry looks a little flashier and it may have some upgraded tech - but when you drive it - the Accord is just different . I can't put my finger on it. And when all the bells and whistles wear off you're just left with the driving experience and that's what matters. "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" is a great way to describe the Accord.
Well after watching endless reviews and comparisons, YOUR comment was the most helpful piece of information I found! Lol, thanks! I am also strongly considering the Camry XSE Hybrid because of the styling lines and the pearl white and black roof contrast with the red leather. That car looks stunning! However, this touring edition gives the heads up display that the XSE does not and as others have written, there is just something about the way an Accord drives and feels.

This 10th generation Accord has aged GRACEFULLY!! It still looks fresh even though it went on sale in September 2017. Sexiest midsize sedan on the market 💯
The Touring trim truly has it all. Great value for the price, my only gripe is the audio. Honda really cheaped out on the speakers across ALL trims, even the touring.
Nice review. Hopefully in 2023 when the redesign happens, hope they fix the rear end. On top models if they had a panoramic roof it would be a total winner
I was absolutely floored when I realized how much rear seat leg room there is in the Touring - like, more room than you're going to find in the Lexus LS460L or LS500. Insane!
I own a 21 Accord EX-L Hybrid. I would agree with you on the lights for distance and clarity. However the high beams are a failure. If the high beams don't aim high enough it defeats the purpose of having them. Where I live there are many hills. when going up hill. You can not see if there were any animals or people in the road or along the road. It gets worse in curves. It gets really bad when it's raining. Of course these are my opinions from my experiences. Overall I love the car. High beams just need better height.
Great video. I bought a 2021 sport 2.0. LEDs highs/lows are great at night. Can't believe Honda didn't put led interior bulbs or trunk bulb. I changed interior, trunk and back up bulbs to lasifit and they make a big difference especially the reverse bulb for the back up camera at night. Also there is no glove box light. As far as auto high beams they are glitchy. They will be on when cars are stopped at side street intersections. They switch on and off sometimes coming up on cars in front and car in front probably thinks you are flashing them on purpose.
Very true. I can't believe in my son's 17 Ford focus ST3 he has ambient lights changing colors, LED interior bulbs and turn sequential side mirrors. Ford has this in 2017 Honda is being cheap.
@@AG-yv8yb That’s because Ford doesn’t have a Lincoln version of the Focus so they don’t have to holdback. Honda has to leave stuff off the Accord so it doesn’t cannibalize TLX sales.

@@AA-jk1es around 23k on it. only oil changes and tire rotations done by dealership. Only issue that ever come up was TPMS light comes on sometimes but rare I think it only occurred during season changing. Only thing that happens is breaks squeak when backing up and braking after rain but that's normal IMO with rusting
Will the 2018-2020 headlights fit the 2021 Accord? Amazon says yes, but I'm not convinced. I do a lot of backroad driving and would like to go with the 2018-2020 headlights so I can add an aftermarket LED bulb for the high beam.
Oh MY, this is the exact replica of my Lunar Silver Metallic 2021 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring model ! I love my 2021 Honda! It's a beautiful vehicle and it's FAST! Great features! Unfortunately, these newer models totally changed the look. The 2023 models took away the fog lights, the beautiful front large grill, downsized the letter "H" on the rear of the car, and took away the 2.0 T... I'm leasing so I don't think I would want to trade this baby in for the newer model.

On the left stalk where light controls are, there’s an extra little switch to turn those fog lights on. Try that, or turn the lights off and in and see if they turn on then
Great review, thank you very much, I also just wanted to add that Honda sensing is great, not as good as Hyundai but still very good, but in other markets the Honda Accord does come with rear automatic emergency braking which we do not get in the accord in the United States which I find very odd..
It’s a beautiful car, but I’m really surprised that they do not offer any kind of interior ambient lighting strips, most if not all of their competitors have it as an option, yes you can add it aftermarket but it really deserves it from factory at least on the higher trims. And also it is almost unacceptable that it still has incandescent lights on the interior, how hard would it have been to just put some LED bulbs in the interior, again easily done aftermarket but LED bulbs are cheap and it would make the cabin feel a lot more modern. Ironically in other markets you can get beautiful illuminated doorhandles that come on the top levels. My friend just bought a 2022 Honda Accord hybrid touring, it’s a beautiful car very comfortable lots of great options but I probably would’ve gone with the new Hyundai sonata hybrid Limited, sure it’s a bit slower but it comes with that awesome solar panel roof, much better tech on the inside, beautiful ambient lighting, better active safety and highway driving assist features, as well as about 10 miles per gallon average better fuel economy. As far as reliability, he’s leasing it but both of them have average to above average reliability…
I didn’t “lie”. This is the only trim (for that year) that has “door handle ambient lighting” - Honda. Ambient lighting doesn’t have to be all bling bling like Mercedes with multiple colors across the dash. It’s the interior lighting that’s..ambient.

You may soon have plenty of lights on the Dashboard, if this car will suffer like every other previous Accord, with the Dreaded ABS VSA issue, which is a Disgrace..being a safety issue it should have been a recal on all Accords, but they brush it under the Carpert, so no more Hondas for me because of the Cover up.

@@snowboarddan5899 Brake squeak? you might be low on the brake pads..get it checked I guess.

I’d say simple headlight / fog light fix would be adjusting the fogs a bit up they point tooooo low and the low beams same thing aimed up slightly imo

Honda should have installed LEDs in the rear turn signal indication instead of incandescent bulbs!!!!

I think the interior is lacking a bit but in my opinion the Honda clarity fuel cell is the most luxurious you can get out of Honda sedans

had my accord for 5 years. not a single light has come on besides when I need gas.
I’ve owned 3 ACCORDS in 21years and NEVER HAD a single light come in other than tpms.

Honda’s have some road noise but pretty sure cheap tires are what is making the most noise and mic being very sensitive.
