West Ham have been on terrific form this year and find themselves comfortably in the top 4 at the start of the season. In fact, with all matches played in 2021, West Ham are 3rd, only to Premier League Winners Manchester City and Champions League Winners Chelsea. David Moyes has brought new life into the club, leading them into the Europa League, with a chance of Champions League football next season. Their strong defensive block and fast transition football has been a joy to watch, and has started to get hammers fans dreaming of what lies ahead for them. A recent loss to Wolves may have slowed them down slightly, but with big wins against Liverpool, Everton and Spurs, they continue to be one of the toughest teams to beat in the league.
In today's video, we're going to be breaking down what's behind West Hams incredible start to the season, along with the changes David Moyes has made to get every player ticking.

Being a West Ham fan, I will say that I’ve noticed that Fornals can track back and create a 5 at the back when needed. Cresswell then shifts into Left Centre back. Also, Soucek has also been known to run into the box on occasion so a wide overload isn’t always the go-to thing
Underrated channel ❤️🙌
It's a long shot, but it would be amazing to see a video on the Canadian National team's current rise under John Herdman. Currently top of Concacaf WC Qualifiers. They use so many different formations I'd love to understand more of the potential reasoning
Could be interesting to look at, definitely a lot of young talent coming through
love these videos help me understand so much more
love that graphic at 7:15
very good football content! It helps a lot to understand more the game. thank you very much and I support you to upload more tactic videos.
Thank you mate 🙌🏻👊🏻
West ham fan here, great video and really gave me more insight into why we play like we do
West ham need a backup CF , they'll be unstoppable
If West Ham can buy a good striker in the January transfer window to give them back up if Antonio is fatigued or injured then they’ll go on to challenge for a champions league spot.. if Lingard returns as has been mentioned then even better.. thank you for these interesting tactical breakdowns..
Please do a detailed analysis on ralf rangnick tactics please details on how his team presses
Can you make a video on Ajax 2021 tactics..They are really playing Cruyff's Total football
I've seen other videos you've made but as a Hammers fan I enjoyed this that bit more. Thank you. As a coach, I am curious to ask where you bought the tactics board from? All the best
Thanks mate appreciate it! I made the board myself, I painted a plank of wood
Big matches tactical review. Both pre and post.
Please do Ralf tactics
As a WHU fan I am enjoying every week we are up. But as a WHU fan I am afraid to dream big. I'd say I'll be happy with anything better than 8th place 🤣
Not sure it will be sustainable as the tactics demand highly skilled players. So I wonder what they will do if they have an injury crisis. But they are sure a joy to watch for West Ham fans
Where do you get your stats for things like the massive graphic of long passes?
I use a lot of websites, but for that particular stat I used wyscout
Well, this analysis may be what Sir Alex saw through in David when he passed his mantle onto him when he retired from managerial profession in 2013...probably and convicingly. But we all know United, due to their football culture and influence was not ready for that kind of patience. So does with the players during his brief tenure at United. But thats just my silly opinion.
Amazing Analysis Again! Hopefully, an EPL team director will see your videos and offer you a position at their club. your videos have helped me understand tactics so much more. I love that your videos are to the point, short, no fluff. What compelled you to start a youtube channel ?
Thanks mate appreciate it 🙌🏻 I started the channel during lockdown, I've been working in football as an analyst for a few seasons now and when our season got called off, thought I'd do something to keep me busy... Never thought it would grow this much 😂
❤
Is there a school or organization that I can learn to be a football analyst like you?
You could always pursue coaching badges! it's the best way to learn about the game and will help you get hands on experience in the real world too!
this video didn't age well....
