The bane of every DFW pond angler’s existence: the rope that holds the fountain in place. I steer clear ever since I lost two Megabass One Tens in the span of 3 casts a few winters ago.
I can’t imagine! I almost lost a $50 baby bull shooter to one. Those ropes are the worst but I still cast over them and lose my gear!

@@thesouthwes oh hell no. I have Like 4 googan black’s and a dozen green and gold’s plus both spinning reels, Googan is my go to lure as well. Needless to say I’m a HUGE GOOGAN fan
Haha okay! A lot of people give me crap for using it. It’s the green reaction rod. I love it for crankbaits
@@thesouthwes honestly I have every googan rod I went on a spree and picked up every one Academy had and ordered the rest off the app last year. I don’t however have every black series rod still missing the finesse and the ultra light. They’re coming soon though
