Ok, so been watching for ages now and this video for me has been the best!! Missing the tablet scribbles lol but Jamie thank you SO MUCH for this video. After speaking to a few brokers etc about my situation, not 1 of them said my 2nd ‘investment property’ AFFORDABILITY is seen through rental income, they all said based on salary! After seeing this I am reaching back out to them and stating this! So happy you discussed the affordability! Keep up the great work and I’m sure when I’m ready, I will be in touch with aspire! Think I want to flip 1 or 2 1st to get more cash in the bank as well as withdraw my equity. Then I want a few btl. Cheers Jamie! 👍🏻👍🏻

Not quite. With buy to lets, it relies on the asset, not your job for example.
Working with investors can certainly be a great way of accelerating your journey :)

When you buy a house and it needs doing up. Do you have to pay the bills? ( it has a kitchen and running water) it is just very run down.

This video doesn't explain that actually.
If you purchase a property and are planning on refurbishment before renting - for example it take 2 months to refurb and get a tenant, YOU will have to pay the standard bills for that property of course, water, gas electric, insurance, mortgage payment, etc etc, until a tenant is moved in and paying you instead
